A epic training

1st day of winter year 509 AV

OoC: This is training with my great sword :D

The air was crisp and cool in the winter morning's air, as if it itself was just waking up to the morning. The sun was rising later then usual, like it always did during the winter. The sun was blocked slightly due to clouds that looked like it was some type of cast off from something else. The clouds them selves were looking sick. All dark and murky like they had eat something that didn't quite agree with them and was just now showing. Nothing was moving to the naked eye except one thing that was standing out and moving toward a destination in a straight line, decidedly unanimal like. He was trudging through the snow which was slightly deep, all the way to his calves. He had with him all the possession's that he owned at the moment. Which even to him wasn't much but he always reassured himself every time he thought about it that it would be fixed later. The person paused a moment, the movement was like that of a tiger that was stalking his prey freezing. His entire body went still, tilting his head slightly toward the lift, he identify it as the sound that had been going on countless times today as he made his way to his destination. The snow, riding on the branches of the tree's of this forest, were being overburden, and at different intervals of the day, would snapped the branches, or just drop to the ground, still causing noise for alarm to that the lone person.

On the man's back, was the most outstanding feature on him from a distance. His sword was the length of his body. But as he got closer, you saw a even more disturbing look at him. Something that he himself was always proud, and would never cover unless it cost him something in return. Was his eyes, for they were a bright red, but had a different intensity about them. As if they were containing red hot lava right there and then, and the wielder of those eyes looked like he was about to go on a rampage, just for having those eyes. His face looked normal, but whenever he smiled, everyone in view of his smiled noticed those longer then normal teeth, and the barbs on his skin, automatically naming his species kelvic.

He stood there for a few seconds after the sounds had disappeared. Loosening his muscles slightly, he started his trudging through the snow once again. The lone person kept walking like that for another few hours, for he was looking for the right something, only the something was something that he knew, and he himself would know it when he came to it. Tapping his longer then usual nails against his hip at a tone that he had just heard a couple of days ago, he kept the lookout for the thing he was looking for. With one hand on his bag rope that connected to his supplies, the man hefted slightly toward his side, easing the build up of stress on his shoulder. Turning his head slightly at something from the edge of his sight, he notice the a sign of something that he had been looking for.

Changing the course that he been following for the last few days. he entered a meadow, it wasn't that long in length, and he had seen wider ones on his way here. But the tree's were tall enough to block most of the snow that had been floating to the ground for the past few days. Setting his pack against a dry tree, he started wandering around the meadow to know about the surrounding area. To his lucky name, he found a spring that wasn't frozen over. Placing his hand in and sniffing the water that had came out with his hand. Satisfy that the water was clean and wasn't foul in anyway, he stroll backed to his base camp. Opening his pack with a few deft tug's on the string, he started unpacking his tent. Taking a slight break to place some snow in his mouth to get some liquid down to his body he started to pitch camp. Setting up his tent and searching around his area for dry wood for a fire.

Once the camp was to his satisfaction, he turned toward the empty meadow and unbuckled his sword. "Well kotoki, i guess its a good as any time to start this"

Before placing his hands on the cold hilt of his sword. Kotoki did several body stretches. Having his torso twist to one side, then have the rest of the body twist in a whole different direction. It pleased him to no end that his body never rejected it the feel of it, the twisting and turning. Kotoki wouldn't know what to do with himself if that day had every happen. Bending toward the ground, he stretched his entire body like a giant cat just waking up, from one end of his body all the way to the other end of it. Standing straight for a moment, kotoki surveyed his surrounding area. The shadows were like some sort of sea animals that loved to play in the ocean, the way they sway to the slight breeze that had sprung a little bit earlier when he was setting up camp. With a shake with his head and his not wet hand sliding through his moist hair, he wonder what the world saw when no one was around.

Shrugging his head at that thought, kotoki quickly stored it away for another time. Brushing that thought off, the urging to find someone, to tell him what to do with his life bloomed within him. Raising his hand to his chest to clutch at the cloth that cover his chest right around where his heart was. Holding the hand there, and breathing there for a few minutes calm down the effect, but kotoki knew within himself that he would have to find something of a nature that he sough, or this could kill him eventually, either it him alone or him in battle. Releasing the hold that he had on his clothes kotoki strolled forward to the middle of the meadow, ready to start the honing of his skills.

As he stood there, a steam of his breath rising gentle in front of his face. Sighing slightly, his hand did a lighting fast strike toward the the hilt, yanking on it, drawing it in a instant and holding it in front of him. With the blade only inches away from his face, kotoki looked at his reflection, and smiled in a feral grin. For he had liked what he saw in the reflection. With deliberated slowness, the swordsman started weave the sword in both hands in a simple pattern through the air. As time progressed, the pattern got more complicated. Wanting to add more difficulty to this exercise, he begun speeding it up. Not even breaking a sweat yet, with his chin against his chest in concentration. For his sword was a big one, and heavy to boot. The gleaming metal begun to shine with the brightness of the day, as it grew even faster still, but still with the complex pattern that was started earlier.

He had to do it to the point where he could start it off as fast as he was doing it now. Sigh with boredom, he nevertheless keep at it, for kotoki himself would need it one day, and he this was still only a warm-up, for he was waiting on someone to come help him in actually fighting.
