The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Note that you can choose any color scheme or googlefont you'd like, provided it all blends nicely. I used a light gold, as it fits the theme of this thread, but feel free to go bananas! Lhavit favors blush pinks and corals, shades of gold, deep blues and purples and whatever else springs to mind! Even fancy framepics work for me, provided you link it through our local
Photo Gallery. That way, we don't have images randomly disappearing on us!

I hope the pricing is simple enough; florists aren't really detailed anywhere in the lore, so I was kind of making up my own system for it. By all means, scrap it or modify it to make it better if need be. Otherwise, hope it suffices.

Nestled among the larger buildings along Surya Plaza is a small, two-story cottage of white stone that is overgrown by flowers of a dozen different colors. Flowers of all sizes adorn the front wall of the cottage, overflowing over the pots and plots they were planted in. One might think these were plants left untended, but they would be wrong. This was Skyline Florist, and no one could accuse Lecha of leaving her children unattended.

A bright, red door can be found among two columns of exotic vines, the entrance into the florist shop. The interior is more orderly than the decor outside, with various examples of Lecha's work covering the tables. Lecha herself is usually found in the back of the shop, seated at her worktable working on a arrangement. She is quick to jump up and attend to her customers, though, chatting away all the while. If the customer seeks a lengthy stay, though, Lecha invites them to one of the chairs ringing her workstation to discuss their needs while she continues her own work.

If one were to arrive and Lecha was absent, though, they need only head to the to the back door into her own personal garden. The small plot of land is covered in wooden plots where various plants grow. This is where Lecha grows the majority of her merchandise. Stairs are also built onto the cottage, leading the the living quarters on the second story. Obviously, this portion of the cottage is off-limits to customers.

With her plain brown hair and common brown eyes, Lecha looks drab amongst the colorful flowers she grows and nurture; her personality, though, makes up for her simplicity. The owner of Skyline Florist is quick to laugh, quicker to smile, and an overall joy to be around. Warm, carefree, and loving all describe the woman, all of which is exemplified when she among her flowers.

Lecha has been gardening since she was a child, but it was only after the Djed Storm of 512 AV that she desired to go into the florist business. Since then, she has prospered, living by her code of "beauty over profit margin." Her work has been showcased in weddings, funerals, and parties all over the city. Yet the thing she's proudest of is the smiles her flowers bring to the faces of her customers.

All of Lecha's products are custom-order, with prices depending on the arrangement design, the type of flower used, and the quantity of flowers used [Refer to Flora list at the locally grown plants grown in Lhavit, as they are the backbone of Lecha's garden.]

Base Price: 10 gm for first arrangement, 7 for any additional arrangements made after the first
Flowers: No additional cost for locally flora, multipliers added ranging from 2x to 5x depending on the rarity and quantity of the exotic flowers.

Shrine Of Gratitude

Okomo are the creatures of Lhavit, without them the Starry city wouldn’t be itself. As a gift from Caiyah and blessed by Zintia as well, the Okomo are regarded as sacred beings themselves and as such the citizens of the crystal city decided to build a shrine for them.

The Shrine of gratitude, commonly referred to as the Okomo shrine, is located in a dead end, in the east of Shinyama peak. This small spot is used to show respect and gratitude for the Okomo, who helped the Lady of The Stars when she needed it and of course for guiding the founders of Lhavit through the harsh times.

The shrine is used as a place to leave some offerings for the Okomo behind, usually food, but some people (older citizens mostly) stop by to pray for the wellbeing of the gentle creatures on regular basis.

Born and raised between the tents of the nomad race known as the Benshira, Naomi is a prime example of her kin. Tanned skin and usually covered in garbs dyed in bright colours, this old woman used to be a beauty and she still is, despite her age.

She was married to a trader of her own race who visited Lhavit often, and she always came with him to sell their wares. Slowly but steadily she fell in love with the city and when her husband died, it was no surprise that she stuck around. A huge fan of the Okomo, she visits the Okomo Shrine daily, praying briefly and placing a couple of apples on the altar.

Elysium Hall

Elysium Hall is the name Alses has given to her residence in Lhavit. It is a pleasant mansion house built from golden marble and shimmering skyglass that stands proudly on the top tier of Tenten Peak, glowing in the abundant sunlight so beloved of its owner. Unlike the norm in many other cities, Elysium Hall isn’t hidden behind high walls, wrought iron fences and private guards; all that demarcates Alses’ property from the street is a low skyglass wall and a pair of open gates with her sunburst sigil worked into the design, more a polite reminder than a barrier of any kind.

The grounds are substantial, especially given the paucity of space atop the peaks, and the gardens are full of Alses’ favourite flowers and trees, roses being especially prominent, nodding in their hundreds along the curving pathway that leads up to the Hall proper.

The façade of the Hall is elegantly ornate, reflecting the tastes of its owner; fine allegorical statuary and fresco-work is much in evidence in between the skyglass pillars that blaze with the light of the sun, framing the grand double doors that lead inside.

The entrance hall in its current incarnation is grand and near-cavernous in its dimensions. It is obvious the place has been designed to display many works of art, from paintings to sculptures to tapestries and knick-knacks, but currently the pillared and panelled walls are bare, waiting for Alses to actually acquire some objets d’art worthy of display. It echoes, too, the result of a lack of rugs on the intricate marble floor to soak up the sounds, and is not the most welcoming of entrances; positively cold in comparison to the warm exterior, despite the best efforts of numerous skyglass glowglobes in brass claw-sconces.

The hallways, too, follow this unintentional theme of coldness; whilst the quality of the materials used is evidently second-to-none, the soft furnishings leave something to be desired – specifically, their presence.

The rooms themselves, however, are much more pleasant, extravagantly decorated in Alses’ preferred ornate styles. Decorative swirls and flourishes – many of them gilded – are much in evidence, along with painted frescoes and intricate carvings and, of course, plenty of windows, flooding every room with abundant light. The furniture is heavy and baroque, unusual in Lhavit where minimalism is more the norm, but the dimensions of the rooms keep things in generous proportion. In many ways, the house fits Alses perfectly, a reflection of her.


A


The Library

The metaphorical and literal heart of Elysium Hall, the library is a grand and gently-curving space covered by the central dome that dominates the house’s roofline. Entirely skyglass, the freely supported arc of glowing light bathes the room in a steady, even radiance; the chandelier suspended from its apex is more a decorative centrepiece than a functional necessity, as are the glowglobes ranged around the many, many bookshelves that give the room its primary purpose.

Books in serried ranks glow serenely from the fadeong shelves, the abundant light gleaming off gilt lettering and shimmering on the leather bindings, and ornately-clawed tables range between the bookcases, polished to a mirror-shine.

Comfortable chairs, richly upholstered in the red and gold that characterises the room, overstuffed in the approved manner, cluster around the guarded fireplace and the tables both. Plush and yielding, they’re perfect places to curl up with a good book and simply read, and Alses herself can often be found here of an evening, a glass of something hot and wicked on a claw-footed end table nearby.

Two brass staircases, the banisters wrought into fanciful, roaring velispars, lead up to the second mezzanine floor, with further study alcoves and ranks of shelves uncurling around the central space. End tables for knick-knacks, and spaces for potted plants and statuary are commonplace, but the upper floor is much less complete, much less furnished, than the ground floor – plenty of space for Alses to fill with more knowledge and later acquisitions.

The librarian’s desk is recessed into an alcove on the upper floor, half-hidden from sight and perfectly positioned to keep a weather eye on goings-on both on the ground floor and the upper mezzanine.

The Magecraft Laboratory

This laboratory is one of Alses’ most prized and treasured possessions, a large and airy space dedicated, whole and entire, to the sovereign science and the greatest of arts, the practice and execution of magecraft to the highest degree of safety and magnitude possible within the confines of a post-Valterrian world.

The baroque decoration of the rest of her house rather peters out here, obliterated by sheer necessity. Here, Alses had demanded that the room be built exactly to specification first and decorated later, rather than as an ongoing, collaborative, negotiation-filled process between builder and designer.

Even so, the architects have managed at least a little decoration; figures from Lhavitian myth and legend vault and cavort around the upper reaches of the room, a broad border that subtly draws the eye skywards, to where a smaller dome floods the room with Syna’s generous light. The supporting pillars that held up the roof are intricately carved to represent vines and ivy, each decorative leaf gleaming in the abundant sunlight.

The main focus of the laboratory, though, is the equipment. The centrepiece of it all, a mountain of metal and silvered glass, is the optical ring, suspended on twisted steel cables from the pillars, glittering and shining over the pedestal that is the anchoring point for the craft of a magesmith. Its mirrors and lenses flash and flare in the abundant light, a mundane reflection of their arcane purpose.

A tilting-barrel arrangement nearby provides an emergency damping-down mechanism, perfect for erasing glyphing runes and dissipating runaway djed reactions before they can endanger the life of the magesmith and the fabric of the building in general. Tool-racks range along the walls, flanking a heavy desk piled high with papers, quills and ink, ready for Alses to illustrate her plans along with the blackboards in sturdy wheeled frames – perfectly black and new, without a single smear of chalk to mar their fine surfaces.

The Animation Laboratory

The Animation laboratory is one of the newer additions to Elysium Hall, a reaction to the loss of Maeki Cho's studio to arson in Winter 514 A.V. In keeping with the other laboratories Alses has built, practical considerations absolutely overrule artistic license; the room is high, large and fairly bereft of decoration – at least when compared to the rest of the Hall.

The floors are pale tile, carefully roughened to provide grip for shoes and an easy surface on which to inscribe Animation circles, whilst the walls are lined with shelves and recessed cubbyholes, ready to be filled with components and completed pieces. A few scalloped alcoves are also recessed into the walls, display areas for larger golems and their shells, and it is here that the architects have had their way; fluted skyglass pillars bracket each alcove, glowing softly, and gilded decoration crowns the apex of each arch.

Blackboards occupy what little wall space remains, ready for the planning stages crucial to every Animation, and in one of the alcoves there sits a desk, perfectly positioned to drink in the sunlight pouring through the window.

The upper reaches of the lab are crisscrossed with iron gantries, chains and complex pulleys, the latter designed to lift and move the very heaviest and largest of golems, components and other machinery that might need shifting from one part of the room to the next.

The high ceiling glimmers with skyglass radiance, filtering through the chains and casting an unusual dappled light down onto the floor, but even with the obstructions the chamber is very large and airy, a very pleasant space to work in. Without any of the large golems in, however, it is very echogenic, amplifying even the smallest of sounds, an unintended flaw that is somewhat distracting.


A


The Baths

A watery haven in the depths of the house, the baths are perpetually wreathed in gently drifting steam. Statuesque fountains perpetually chuckle and play, forever renewing the gentle circulation of hot water from the springs far below, brought to the surface in a controlled fashion by the power of Lhavit’s reimancers and the artifice of its gadgeteers, and gentle wavelets lap at the mosaic-encrusted sides of the baths.

Glittering skyglass columns punctuate the humid atmosphere, carved into elaborate statues – Ethaefal all, holding up the weight of the rest of the house pressing down on their unflinching shoulders and hands. Along the alcove-scalloped walls, shelves and glass-fronted cabinets run in profusion, laden down with delicate glass bottles full of the philterer’s many and varied arts, or else piled high with fluffy towels, locked securely away from moisture.

Plants grow richly and well down here, in spite of the relative dimness; the water is rich in nutrients and the wet heat curling off the many pools and rills encourages luxuriant growth. Every plant – from elegant climbing vines to ornamental roses and lilies – positively bursts with health, and their quiet perfume fills the air.

A perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day, Alses can often be found here, especially as the evening slips into night, floating motionless in the deeper reaches of the main pool or else simply enjoying the steam and the heat on one of the divans that line the outer edges of the bathing chambers.

Maximilian Silver is a portly and imposing gentleman, with an indefinable aura of gravitas surrounding him. He's a balding gentleman, with what hair as remains a battleground between stark white and jet black, and his skin is very much the pale Lhavitian norm, making the contrast even more striking.

A soft-spoken and efficient person, someone who has devoted much of his working life to serving the needs of others – often, now, before they even know they have a need – he is a highly-valued figure in any household and has developed and nurtured a reputation for discreet and self-effacing service in the celestial city.

He almost never loses his cool or his temper, taking in stride developments from domestic catastrophe to personal tragedy with barely a ripple in his calm mien, a rock on which a household can be built and steadied. Well versed in the vagaries of staff and running a large household, he takes a quiet pride in ensuring that his employers' home lives run as smooth as silk.

His work, however, is not his life; he has a wife and son, on whom he quietly dotes, and as something of an amateur rock hound, Maximilian can often be found, on his days, off, striding over the spectacular terrain of the Misty Peaks in stout boots and waterproof jacket, with a rock hammer in hand and a sturdy satchel to store any particularly interesting specimens. His butler's pantry, too, is usually stocked with interesting geodes, fossils or particularly beautiful rock strata, all of them harvested from the tortured landscape of Kalea, something of a source of pride for the man.

I remember seeing these little hanging glass plant holders in a store, and was inspired to make the location. I wasn't entirely sure how accurate the prices would be, so if i could get some feedback on that, that'd be great.

Adyna's Garden Globes

Adyna's Garden Globes is a shop which sells small glass globes and containers. They often have plants in them, along with stones, or other decorative trinkets.

The store is nestled on the Zintila Peak, near the Surya Plaza, amongst a series of other shops and businesses. The building itself is small, and the only thing distinguishing it from any other building is a sign above the door and an intricate painting on the door. This painting is abstract, filled with swirls and shapes. The sign is plain, simply saying "Adyna's Garden Globes."

Upon entry, one will see a large room. There is a counter to the right of the entrance. In the room there are assorted counters with these globes on display. In the center of the room is a round table. On it is a small, potted tree. It has no leaves, but rather has globes with plants hanging from it. There are other tables around it, with the rest of the globes on display.

The shop itself isn't often crowded, but is almost never empty. It can be expected that one will see a few other groups, simply because such a unique business concept draws attention.

Adyna also makes custom globes, which may take a few days. These cost more, and are priced with 25% more to the price of the globe.

Adyna is a woman in her late thirties, with gentle brown eyes, and the faintest of creases around the edges. Its rare to see her face not adorned with a smile, and she'll often give a warm greeting to those who enter the shop. Her hair is a light brown, often kept up and away from her face.
 
Prices
The plants are priced based upon size, shape, and what is inside. A simple one would only be a small sphere with one or two small plants. A more detailed one could be of a different shape, rather than spherical, and might have a decorative trinket of sorts, with up to four plants. A fancy one would be significantly detailed, and a quite expensive design. The glass may be stained, and may have a precious stone or two sitting in it. The store also sells empty globes for a much smaller price.

City Drugs
Used for any and every event

Some drugs for the city that never sleeps.

Keos

Use: Shredded like chewing tobacco, the more often it is used, the less needed to feel the effects. Pungent and sharp to taste, some people can't stomach it.

Effect: Immediately the body surges with a feeling of new strength, and for a short while after ingestion the user is stronger. Following the initial boost of strength, the user is filled with new found confidence and becomes prone to taking chances they might otherwise avoid, if they set do do something and are successful, euphoria sets in for a half bell after. Failure can lead to bouts of depressed lethargy.

Long term use builds the chemical up in the body, eventually driving the user to take bolder and bolder risks even without the use of the drug. It stains teeth horribly as use continues.

Duration: The effects generally last a bell in total, with the strength waning after 15 chimes.

Cloud

Use: Eaten, or dissolved in drink, it is mildly sweet plain, but undetectable when dissolved.

Effects: Cloud causes a person the sensation of floating, anything they make contact with feels extraordinarily soft, and they often describe feeling like they floated out of their body while using it. People are often found slumped, seemingly boneless, and are incapable of making decisions.

Long term use causes mild indecisiveness, but softens skin, nails, and hair.

Duration: Effects last three quarters of a bell. It takes four or five chimes to remember how to function properly.

Bite

Use: Fine powder absorbed through mucous membranes.

Effects: Used most commonly by lovers, Bite makes a body hypersensitive to touch, upping pain thresholds and increasing sexual stamina and endurance. An over all pleasure enhancer, this drug comes to completion with a lingering euphoria.

Long term, Bite can cause a disassociation of feelings, a lingering numbness of the body.

Duration: Lasting for a bell and a half, the primary effects can be lengthened by taking more, the euphoria lingers an entire bell after the primary effects come to an end.

Smog

Use: Smoked - Often ground, but sometimes used whole in crowds. The branch and bark of the plant are used. The flavor is heavy, and reminiscent of Dula fruit. The smoke is both pink and purple, the two agents in the mix causing the coloration.

Effects: Causes mild hallucinations, narrows the scope of a person's vision. Sometimes disorienting, it causes people to be easily entertained, and heightens the feelings one experiences.

Long term use causes the color of ones lips to darken, taking on tones of pink or purple, in rare occasions both.

Duration: Effects begin three to five chimes after the first breath and continue a half bell after the smoke is gone.

Pithe

Use: Colored eye drops, available in various colors, commonly used at luncheons and dinner parties.

Effects: Temporarily changes eye color to that of the drop and heightens sense of taste. Slightly lowers inhibitions, loosening of the tongue, and Absinthe Slammer goggles. Sometimes leads to unfortunate couplings.

Long term use can stain eyes the color of the drops, in various spots of the iris, or in more complete iris color change. The other noted effect is an altering of or partial loss in ability to taste.

Duration: The color change takes only a few ticks, the taste following within five chimes, and the lightly drunken behavior and change in the appeal of others begins fifteen chimes after the initial dosage. The effects fade slowly, not before two bells have passed, the 'beer goggle' effect lasts the longest fading completely another bell past the ending of the other effects.

Shimmer

Use: Inhaled, and shared, this is not often used alone. It is used most often indoors, but has a diluted effect outside. Similar to tobacco, with a pleasant taste. The smoke is deep, opalescent blue, multitudes of sparkling stars fill the cloud of smoke that lingers heavily and collects in the air even outdoors.

There are no recognized long term effects of using Shimmer.

Effects: Gentle bubbliness, easy laughter, and camaraderie.

Duration: Slow burning, the smoke lasts two to three bells, so it is often set in the middle of a table to burn for the duration of the celebration. The effects of the smoke linger fifteen chimes short of a bell after the smoke dissipates.

Resin Balloons

Description: Similar to Mood Bombs. Decorative balloons or paper lanterns, that use the burning resin to float in the air above a festival. They provide beauty in the day, and light in the night. Different resins have different effects as the drift over the crowds.

Types: Beauty- Similar to how alcohol makes people look better, this resin has the same effect, drifting over the cloud in glittery silver clouds.
Euphoria- Falling in a golden cascade, this resin billows, twists and turns as it falls.
Love- Lingering cotton candy pink clouds.
Lust- Swirling red drops through the sky, shimmering like a mirage as it falls.
Camaraderie- Orange bubbles that float and bounce through the crowd.

Duration: The resin burns for many bells, the vessels often tethered over a certain area anyone within the falling vapors will immediately feel the effects. After removing oneself from the vapor, the effect fades over five to ten chimes.

Hype

Use: Eaten, Crushed and snorted, or melted in tea. Similar to a hard candy, but tart and metallic silver in appearance.

Effects: Causes a person to feel happy and awake, energizes the mind and body, and helps to focus the mind.

Long term it causes the inside of one's mouth to take on a shimmering silver tint. If used often, and then ceased, people have experienced shakes, headaches, and an odd metallic taste after eating or drinking.

Duration: Melts in the mouth for fifteen chimes. Effects begin five chimes after initial ingestion, and continue for forty five chimes after the drop had melted. away.

So, as per instructions, please find below some suggestions of drugs that I've been thrashing out with Tanell/Naiya :) .

Blackdrop

Description: An unusual substance that flows like oil and has a shine on it like black opals, it is usually sipped from shallow bowls. Almost as soon as it touches the warmth of the mouth it evaporates into fumes.

Use: Drunk

Effects: Initially, blackdrop sends a pleasant lassitude coursing through the user. After a chime or two of pleasant relaxation, the drug begins to affect the central nervous system, making the user see brilliant sparkling aurorae and swirling multicoloured auras around everyone and everything; a personal fireworks display.

Long-term use tends to stain the lips of the user with its distinctive black-opal shimmer.

Timeframe: 1-3 chimes:- Pleasant relaxation; 3 chimes – 1 bell:- user sees sparkling aurorae and multicoloured auroras.

Sweet Dawn

Description: A hard, copper-coloured sweet substance with a scent like cinnamon that lingers on the breath of a user, it is usually sucked and allowed to slowly dissolve over a bell or two, releasing the active drug itself into the user's system.

Use: Eaten

Effects: When consumed, the user experiences an initial feeling of euphoria followed by a heady and intensely pleasurable rush of deliriousness, momentary disorientation, and a persistent urge to giggle. This then quickly settles into a delicious mellow blissed-out feeling. Rather addictive, sweet-eaters can often find their habit gets out of control – and expensive.

Timeframe: Effects begin after about 5 chimes, and last as long as the sweet itself, which can vary depending on size. A standard sweet is a 2 centimetre sphere, lasting approximately half a bell.

Dreameye

Description: A brilliant purple liquid.

Use: Dropped into the eye.

Effects: About five chimes after it has been administered, Dreameye begins to take effect; speech becomes slurred and entirely incomprehensible and the user's muscles lose all tone, causing them to slump bonelessly. A further ten chimes after this, the drug's primary effect kicks in, sending the user deep into a lucid, shared dreamland, whose environment is entirely dependent on the general mood of the user(s); it can be anything from euphoric to nightmarish.

Long-term use stains the sclera of the eyes a watery purple colour.

Timeframe: 5 chimes post-administration, speech becomes slurred and user's muscles lose all tone. 15 chimes post-administration, user enters dreamland for a half-bell per drop used.

Harlequin

Description: Harlequin is most frequently found rolled into long, slightly glossy black sticks which, although hard to light, burn slowly and well once started, giving off wisps of a pleasantly aromatic turquoise smoke that is slightly heavier than air and tends to linger.

Use: Smoked.

Effects: Harlequin is a frequently-used party drug; it enhances the grace and poise of its user, with secondary effects on confidence and charisma; whilst under its influence users can – and do – talk with great verve, panache and presence, gesturing confidently and influencing listeners to their point of view. It is also very useful for the less-confident dancers; poise and grace allow for swift recovery from missteps, only adding to its popularity.

Timeframe: 1-2 ticks from lighting up: Increased grace, poise and confidence. The standard Harlequin sticks burn for two bells. 1-2 ticks after finishing: user returns to normal.

No significant long-term effects are known, although heavy users seem to favour louder, brighter clothes in clashing colours and speak more loudly.

Crystal Slam

Description: Crystal Slam is a crystalline drug, with a complex production chain requiring the attentions of an Expert philterer or better. It produces characteristic bursts of citrine sparks during the reduction process, which converts otherwise-innocuous substances, under immense heat and pressure, into the glittering crystals which look very similar to skyglass. When struck, the unstable nature of the solid drug means it sublimates and expands rapidly, subjecting large numbers of people very quickly to its effects.

Use: Inhaled.

Effects: Suggestibility is the main effect of this drug, that and the chaos it causes. Contact with another person, even a stranger, and voicing an idea will spread that idea like wildfire to them. As such, a well-placed Slammer can turn the most stolid of parties into a frenzied orgy, or calm a riot-in-progress down to a tea party. Of course, the drug is not discriminatory; any contact, and any idea, spreads for the duration, leaving some people with very strange memories indeed.

Its excesses can be resisted, of course, but not easily; considerable mental fortitude is necessary.

Timeframe: From sublimation, there is a half-bell latency period, where suggestions can be spread but action tends to be limited, and then a bell or so where the drug's effects are strongest, followed by a quicker quarter-bell comedown where ideas and suggestions fog together, causing many strange recollections.

Mood Bombs

Description: Mood bombs are more a class of drug than any particular one; they are unstable solid spheres that are usually thrown high into the air where they sublimate, releasing clouds of smoke carrying the active ingredients that slowly drifts down. Many are beautifully-coloured, filling Lhavit's festival skies with glittering rainbow veils and sending good feelings drifting through the crowds.

Use: Inhaled. Due to the wide dispersal and low concentration inherent in their delivery method, mood bombs have relatively mild effects.

Effects: The effects of mood bombs are quite varied, but invariably mild when used in an open space. The commonest series are as follows:

Euphoria: A bright golden smoke that twists and dances in on itself in the slightest breeze.
Desire: A rich burgundy that drifts lazily
Joy: A bright and vibrant green, its reaching tendrils seem to play catch with clots of itself.
Grace: Scintillating silver, this vapour dances around any obstacle or obstruction.
Tipsy: A rainbow extravaganza, this smoke tumbles about with abandon, uncaring who or what it rolls through and over.

Timeframe: 30 ticks-1 chime: drugs begin to work; 15 chimes post-exposure the effects cease. On a relatively calm day, the smoke clouds last approximately a half-bell before they dissipate completely and the active effects are lost.
