Ferrin
Well Ferrin certainly didn't want Sylvia to be scolded by her patron. Ferrin can understand how patrons act. For instance, his father. Once a Sylrian Knight himself. He never explained to Ferrin why he left the Knighthood. Although Ferrin has a small interest in joining himself.
He looked at Sylvia and Garland. Both who have injuries that need to be taken care of. Even Ferrin has his own injuries, but his father taught him to ignore the pain. Because if you show the pain throughout a battle, your weakness point can be easily exposed to the enemy.
"Well, I certainly don't want to wait here for the beast. We are already in bad enough condition. If you want to get back to the city, we must hurry. But not too quickly. Don't want you guys to harm yourselves anymore." At first Ferrin was a bit surprised that the Knights wanted him to tell them what to do.
Ferrin could use the reward, he still needs a proper building to call home. And yet he doesn't have enough Mizas to purchase one. He's nearly there for the right amount. "I can help you carrying her. I'm not as badly busted up." It can be true. Ferrin is strong enough to carry a crate of heavy stones.
His muscles ache, but he doesn't care he wants to get out of these woods. Something feels like he is being watched. A shiver ran up his spine. Hairs sticking up. The cold weather felt good, the wind brushing off the sweat from his curly hair.
Maybe we could meet again. Ferrin thought. But hopefully not in these circumstances. His father would be slightly pleased of this accomplishment. But he would be angry that Ferrin has gotten himself injured. His father always tried to teach him how to be strategic when in a fight. And avoid being injured.
If his father was still in Sylrias, he would probably pay some person as it this scene was part of a play. A play that isn't recommended for the little kids.
Stop thinking about your father you fool. Ferrin thought to himself. Focus on the present this is what's going on. "I would try to heal you, buy sadly, my mother and sister are the ones with the magic tough of herbalism and medicenial aid."
