Character concept and history.
Danika is the daughter of a merchant, who unskilled with trading took to arms defending her father’s merchant caravans. She has no love for swords and is specialized in dual wielding whips. She is physically toned and extremely fit, even her bearing excludes an air of power. She is also exceptionally beautiful: born with the blackest hair which she keeps long with a few braided strands .She has clear blue eyes that become darker near the edge. Her fathers house is in Sunberth were she stayed sometimes when her father had to resolve something elsewhere and she didn’t want to join him. It was on one of these trips her father got murdered by a group of tricked low life. Her father was not an honest tradesman and had many enemies that finally one night caught up with him.
She wears high black boots, skinny leather trousers, a big belt with on each side coiled her precious whips. A small sword is strapped to her back just in case. She wears a heavy black hooded cloak on top of a black corset styled leather top which shows her sculpted figure.
As people generally are when gifted with power and exceptional beauty she can be extremely arrogant, irritable and violent. This of course balanced with the patience and inner calm of a fighter.
She has only loved one man, Jay her weapon masters son, and only one friend, a red headed maid called Meara. But her love was short lived as soon as jays father discovered what was going on he quickly quit his job and went far away not wanting to encounter Danika’s father’s wrath. Danika’s father was overprotective with her, shadowing her personal life like a banshee, he hated to see any man close to her heart. This was not helped by Danika’s brother Oleg who also was very vindictive with anyone who came close to his sister.
Oleg quickly took hold of his father’s riches after his death and after a big row with Danika she decided to leave all of her past behind her.
She keeps a pet rat she rescued from a large cat when the rodent was still young, no grown he perches happily on her shoulder.
