The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

The Festival begins at the eleventh bell and doesn't stop until the following afternoon. It is centered around the Sharai Fountain, which is now festooned harmlessly with wreaths of flowers and chains of holly.

There are several large tents that are part of the festival proper and can be visited at any time. They are as follows; the Drinking Tent, the Tent of Voices (for debates, poetry readings and performance art), the Medical Tent, the Tent of Pastures (free Okomo rides and animal exhibition) and the Jumping Tent, otherwise known as the dance floor. Musicians from the Ethereal Opera House play here, as well as select performers from the community.

Each area is strewn with flowers, paper ornaments and strings of lights, as well as glass orbs that contain opalgloams imported from Kalinor, which cast their diffuse glow well into the night. There is a main stage where Zintila may speak at the heart of the Sharai, on the central terrace. Those who participated in the quest come here at 18th bell to receive their jasao blossom crowns and free drink tickets. All tickets can be redeemed at the Drinking Tent, catered by the Scholar's Demise. They can even be given to friends! Each quest participant is limited to three, which is complained about by some and summarily ignored by everybody else.

Open areas are littered with blankets and chairs, where citizens may drink and loiter. Revelry is not only welcome - it is encouraged. Along the haphazard byways as well as between the tents are smaller areas for vendors. Any who have elected to hawk their wares are automatically granted the right to do so, under the condition they remain coherent enough to track the exchange of their goods and services and that a percentage of their profit goes to the construction of a garden, in order to commemorate this annual event.

At the 22nd bell, the Dawn Tower hosts a fireworks show, resulting in a bit of collateral damage. One woman is actually set ablaze, though she has a good sense of humor about it. She is given a free drink ticket by Zintila and the party rages on.

The Alvina of the Stars can be found anywhere throughout the Festival. She engages in the debauchery along with everybody else. Talora spends almost all of her time at the Tent of Voices and the Jumping Tent respectively, though she is harder to spot in her mortal-seeming. Aysel can be found at the Drinking Tent, all night long. He is found by a Shinya sleeping under a table the next morning.
