A Strange Man. (Lo'campo)

Postby Ashley Blairen on April 11th, 2016, 4:51 am

Ashley felt tears come in her eyes, the kick to her gut hurt, but luckily though the pain she can focus on the trigger on her cane... She smiled as he turned away, calling her rotting meat. Some man like him calling her that didn't make her mad in anyway. No she was only a tiny bit furious. She brought her cane towards her, and looked around for the trigger, after finding it she pressed down on the button.

Click

She grinned as the blade of the sword popped out of the cane, she quickly pulled it out and looked at the sheath as she looked at the man. She used the sheath of her sword to push her self up off of the ground. She chucked the sheath of the cane sword into the Akalak and she stepped forward, and followed what she knew about swords. 'Sharp end goes in the person.' she thought to herself as she pushed the sword forward towards the man.

The sound of the click made him smile. Looks like she had the man parts to draw her blade. He had to give it to her. He didn't expect her to be able to do it. His hand still rested on his lakan, he counted the sound of her footsteps behind him, waiting for her to get close enough.

His arm came out, the tip of the blade gleaming in the light as it's point smiled in the shadows of the darkness. He went to turn around to meet her rib cage as she rushed him. Silly child wanting to play with adults. His arm went to change holds on the hilt of the dagger before something hit him. He didn't know what it was, it seemed to just pop out of thin air. What ever it was, it had smacked him right in the shoulder and lower jaw making his skin tingle with the registering pain.

Petch, it threw off his footing. There was another gleam of light, but it didn't come from his blade. Shyke she was coming. What did she hit him with? The cane? The petching thing was a sword? Everything seemed to move in slow motion. His ears booming with the sound of his heart in them. This was it, what he truly craved. When time itself slowed down. Where the stakes were high and the risks were worth it. She came at him straight on. No tactics, no skills, no fancy sword play, just straight forward and true. She had gained a little respect from him for that.

His back foot hit the ground as he quickly regained his balance. His lifted his arm wielding his weapon as her blades tip came in fast and close. Sparks flew as the steel connected against each other causing a loud screech to echo through the ally. Her body connected to his as they both stood there, embraced in the wet liquid that ran between them. It was quiet for a moment. Her head laying in his chest and his arm upon her back the two unmoved. His signature murderous smile crept across his face as both his hands engulfed her neck.

His brute strength lifted her off the ground as her feet dangled. "My three bells are up.Damn, just as the fun was starting. I wish I could stay and play but due to certain circumstances i'll just have to catch you next time....Hmph, you may not be rotten meat after all." With that being said he shot her a look letting her know that this wasn't over before tossing her away like trash. He closed his eyes as he felt himself being pulled away.. The pain fading as well as his senses. He was switching with Lo'campo. He smiled at the lighter personality as they passed only to gain a grim look in return. He gave a wink as he return the the vastness of their mind and Lo'campo stepped through the light and into the physical world.

The first thing he felt when his eyes opened was the liquid dripping from his side. Then came the pain. It wasn't much to cripple him, but the sword and nipped him pretty damned well. Straight through his side leaving a nasty diagonal slash. It hurt him to turn either side he realized as he picked up the sword that lay next to him blade bloodied with what he guessed was his own. There was a woman laying upon the ground. Oumoc's play toy he assumed surprisingly still alive and well beyond fine given the bruises. "So you're the one that gave Oumoc a run for his money? This is yours right?" He spoke tossing the blade over to the person though it fell short due to his injury.

A Strange Man. (Lo'campo)

Postby Ashley Blairen on April 11th, 2016, 5:39 am

Ashley sat there in confusion as the man talked about his three bells being done... What in all of the gods was he talking about. She had a look of confusion on her face as she was thrown to the side, and she watched as he closed his eyes... What the petch was this man doing?! She just sat there in confusion waiting for him to go and slit her throat, or gouge out her eyes, or at least something.

But no... The man opened his eyes, a look of pain on his fast after a tick, and then picked up her sword... Oh gods he was going to kill her with her own sword... Which is ironic in a way because she killed her brother with the sword as well... Well she guessed that was the cycle that the blade is going to enter or something incredibly dumb like that... Then... He gave her back her sword...

Ashley scrambled to get it, holding it up and pointing the tip at the Akalak. "Who the petch is Oumoc? Who are you?" She said, her eyes narrowing. "What trickery are you playing here." She scanned the akalak... It was like he changed personalities, if this person she faced now was this... 'Oumoc.' he would have plunged the sword into her throat or something.

Great, another person that didn't understand the make up of Akalaks. "Put your sword down child, before you start something that I will have to finish. If I wanted to kill you, I would have by now. Oumoc on the other hand is enraged that I am not harming you." He had one hand upon his side and the other with his lakan pointed back at the woman. Yes he was injured, but it would not stop him from killing this person if he had too.

"My name is Lo'campo. I am an Akalak from Riverfall. I can assume that you know this much?" And that started the explanation of Akalaks and their personalities and how their make up and existence came to be. He could only hope that she could keep up, let alone understand everything that he was saying and not be a fool and try to carry out a grudge match between them over what his other personality had done.

" And I'm Lo'campo. The other personality, Oumoc, is the one that you were fighting. I have no issue with you, so I see no reason to harm you in any way, but if you do not lower your weapon I will take that as a challenge and we can begin now." He had began to feel his wound tingle as the blood started to become crusted. His robed armor tickling his side as the fabrics brushed across it. In a movement he slipped his arm out letting the top halve of his armor fold over the lower half exposing his massive body tattered with scars from previous battles. He was ready now. Even injured he was sure that he could take her down 5 chimes tops.

Ashley bent down to retrieve her sheath as the akalak spoke about where he was from. She quickly stood back up and nodded slightly, and lowered her sword. She slid it back into the hole and made it the cane once more and leaned on it. "So... You don't want to kill me, just the arse hat of a second personality?" She asked.

"Are you okay? I mean... If I knew you weren't filled with blood lust I wouldn't have stabbed you or what ever I did." Ashley stated, still keeping her thumb on the trigger for the cane release the entire time she spoke... She still didn't trust the man entirely... She felt like he would just stab her while she let her gaurd down.

He gave a friendly smile, or at least tried to with the wound bringing him pain with every breath. It was quite funny to sit and have a conversation with the person who was almost killed by his darker personality. "Lo'campo" He introduced himself to the woman who seemed to be dressed in men's clothed. He didn't care, it wasn't his business anyways to why she dressed the way she was.

He attempted to stand, slightly restricted by his wound. She had got him good. Nothing that a good cleaning and a lot of rest wouldn't heal, but still. He looked to the woman who though alive was bruised, sporting a growing red mark upon her cheek . There were marks around her neck where it was gripped and dried blood from a cut upon her opposite cheek. "Are you alright?" He asked. He knew from experience that Oumoc was not one to let his prey live. He did not know what she could have possible done to live as long as she did. The gods must have been with her for her to so happen live long enough for Oumoc's play time to expire.

Ashley stared at the man... She rubbed her cheek and the bruise that has been formed around her neck. "Nothing some make up wont fix..." She mumbled as she walked forward toward Lo'campo, she might be making a huge mistake, but she wanted to help the Akalak... But she still had the finger on the trigger, almost ready to have the sword come out.

She offered him a hand, "Is there a place her that we can get you... to stop bleeding to death?" She asked, smiling slightly, this time it was a genuine smile, and not one her fake smile. It was a toothy smile that was proud, making her look very boy-ish.

Death. Oh how the word sounded so pleasing. He looked to her with the best hurt face he could muster. "I don't live far, if you can get me to the orphanage that would help a lot." He was lying not fully, but just enough so she wouldn't see him for the crazed man he really was.

The truth of the matter was that yes while having a wound that did in fact hurt, he honestly enjoyed it. It had been a many of years since he actually felt real pain, and having a high tolerance to the feeling almost always gave him a feeling of an elated high, a drug of some sort. He was all bout ready to inflict the damage to himself if she hadn't come along.

He tried standing up on his own, acting as if he really couldn't move from the pain. It was sad yes, but it was for her own safety. If she knew what he knew then she would've been so quick to help him, and in helping him she would have gained an ally. He placed his free hand upon the ground to support his weight moving his legs under himself to stand. He pushed his back against the wall so he would not topple over atop of the girl. He stood shifting his body to one side so it would look as if he were really cradling the wound. He moved slow giving the occasional limp with every other step making faces to try and sell it good.

A Strange Man. (Lo'campo)

Postby Ashley Blairen on April 13th, 2016, 2:49 am

Ashley sighed a little bit as she walked behind Lo'Campo... She didn't feel like she got him that good... It clearly wasn't a puncture wound, so it must have been a grazing or a slash of some kind... She kept her finger on the trigger... She gave out a small cough as she clicked the sword part free, covering the clicking sound that the trigger caused. She didn't walk on it with much pressure, to keep it from going back into it's locked position... Just in case.

She still didn't entirely trusted the Akalak in front of her... After all, he did sort of try to kill her... Even with the whole personalities thing she felt like she can not, and should not trust him... Her eyes narrowed. "So why are you going to the rphanage? I mean... I feel like that wont be a good idea with Oumoc." She asked him as she walked.

"I work and live there." He answered. He would leave it there. It wasn't any of her business to know about his "arrangement" with his darker personality. His act seemed to be working, or the woman was too distracted or even foolish to notice. It hadn't dawned on him that throughout the entire time of his residence at the orphanage, Oumoc hadn't shown himself the bit interested in the lives of the orphans or Jilene. It was something that made him wonder a bit about the personality.

He found it really noble of the Mr's to walk him home for safety, but it was dangerous for her to be around him. Even in control and not having the intentions of bringing harm to her, he couldn't promise her well being from himself. "I would watch my back if I were you?" he paused for a moment realizing how it could be interpreted as a threat before quickly adding on to his statement. "You're a target. Oumoc isn't going to stop until he has killed you. So if I were you i'd either learn to fight really well or practice running and hiding from him. Either way, he wants blood. Your blood."

He let his suggestion be replace by a moment of silence. It wasn't that he cared for her life because he didn't really. It was more of a way to repay her back for not striking him when he was down as well as walking with him home. Not that he needed protection, even injured he could still take care of himself enough to make it home. It was the company that he enjoyed.
