As Sayana prepared herself looking from the zith to the spider and back again, suddenly a shrill sound came from the left. It was like a whistle or a flute or… A branch flew through the air and crashed onto the rooftop as a huge gust of wind whipped through the courtyard and surrounding buildings.
“Duck down!” Sayana cried out and reached to wrench the arms of both Fury and the familiar Reysin to pull them to lay flat upon the roof. For several ticks the wind rushed against them and she could hardly look up without feeling the impressive force of the air. Where had the other two gone? Were they alright? But out of all of them, the spider and the zith were likely the best to survive the furious winds.
Yet, almost as soon as the strong winds gusted around them, they just as suddenly died down. For several ticks Sayana stayed flat on her stomach on the roof with just her eyes looking around. Only Fury and Reysin were still with her and tentatively she called out, “Is everyone alright?” There were a couple sounds from other participants of the training event and she hoped that was enough.
Slowly she got to her feet and looked about cautiously. However, the winds didn’t seem to immediately return and instead a light playful smile formed upon her face. Looking directly at Reysin she winked and gave a coy smile. First she pointed to his most visible weapon, the cutlass, and then she gave a beckoning gesture with one of her fingers. She wanted him to fight, to try something. She settled into a comfortable stance, holding two large daggers in her mid hands though it would have appeared that she was holding the daggers in her single pair of hands. She no longer had her lakan but many of her facial features would appear similar to how she looked as an Eypharian.
OOCFeel free to blow the winds about. I figured it would be a good excuse to move forwards without Sava and Salinti in case they don’t return.
