Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

Stables, Market.
Riverfall

She dressed simply in a little green summer dress with sandals. The girl looked at herself in the mirror. Mirrors she found fascinating but she could see her hair. Her hair had a braid on each side of her face and ten drawn back. The rest was brushed to shimmering waves and curls that went to her hips. After they had settled into the apartment and she got over the initial shock of being in four walls, working out accommodations was interesting.

The girl had the bed and he said he would sleep on the floor. The bed was also something to get used to as it is soft. For a person used to a hard floor covered by a bedroll, this was soft. It was almost uncomfortably soft. The girl made the bed as she kept it neat and tidy. She stepped over the handsome man. For some reason he had not given her a name. This perplexed her. She had no idea what to call the man. Well there is no help of it. She went out the door and down the sunlit paths towards the stables.

The stables were on the other side of Riverfall. Over the bridge and down the path but it was more or less direct. The girl greeted Shetanae who was glad her rider was in good shape. Amunet spent some time communing with the mare as she took a brush from the stable and brushed her coat that shined in the sun. After her winter coat was shed, her dark dun coat underneath. She didn’t have time to deal with her mane and tail but it was nice as her and the horse had a relationship the stable owners and hands understood. They knew she was Drykas. Amunet had spent time talking about what to feed the Strider considering that she isn’t used to a lot of grain. The red head and the stable owner came up with a grain mixture that would closely resemble her diet. This was introduced carefully with a lot of good hay and clean water. So far she has been doing alright though itching to run. She promised Shetanae they would go on a good run soon. The girl waved at The stable owner and went towards the market.

The market was not too busy yet which was how the red head liked it. There was a plethora of items to cook with she never seen before. She wondered if there was someone to learn from as she spoke softly and gently to those in the market about the strange items that come to the market. The fruits she never seen, like apples. She talked to one stall keeper as they told her about this wonderful pie and different chutneys and just plain baked apples with nuts and honey. The girl asked for this recipe and bought some fresh apples. That sounded absolutely delightful. Hopefully the Handsome man will like it.

She procured a leg of wild boar which she knew how to cook and a few vegetables. This was coming together nicely. She actually smiled as she took her purchases and found the herb shop to locate rosemary and mustard seed for the boar. The girl looked beaming as her mind looked to make a meal for someone. He was keeping her safe to logic would say that a good meal was more than reasonable. The girl cleaned that apartment from top to bottom also while he was asleep.

The Kelvic awoke from his slumber, and extended an arm out in order to grasp hold of Amunet and wake her as well. He heard the brief thump of the palm of his hand against the surface of the bed and the softness of the comforter. However, She was not present on that side of the bed; at first his eyes were completely closed. Yet, when he realized she was gone his eyes snapped wide open and he awoke in what seemed like an instant. “What in gods name....?! AMUNET!!!!!! Where are you?!” He exclaimed at the top of his lungs. He immediately sat up, and kicked the comforters off of himself he was clothed in no more than his undergarments. Skyard had been in a state of complete and utter shock; he was terrified. Several thoughts raced through his mind all at once; had she been captured by a thief in the night?

Skyard was used to being on his own after all of these years. Yet, in past experiences he knew that sudden disappearances never went well. His first Master died in the same fashion that Amunet seemingly vanished from his sight. In the dead of night after they returned home; he had been snatched and stolen away from Skyard. The thieves left no trace, and several days later his supposed “Body” had been found and buried. Skyard did not want a recurrence of that event to occur; especially not with a beautiful woman like her. The Kelvic was not prepared in any way shape or form for that kind of a loss again and he would not allow it to happen on his watch.

“I-..I vowed to protect her, and now I will have lied to her... She is gone.. I will find her even if it means that I die in the process of doing so..” Skyard spoke to himself in a whispered tone as his voice cracked. Was she meant to simply leave him, was she destined to disappear from his side this way? Skyard wanted to cry, he felt a slight pressure in both his eyes simultaneously as tears began to form beneath his eyelids. He shook violently for a moment out of the sheer amount of fear he experienced; it hit him like a massive tidal-wave. Heavy deep and compulsive breaths began to exit his esophagus as he panicked. “Thud, Thud, Thud” His heart could be heard so loudly that it shook him to the core as he thought about what could've been happening to her.

Amunet, his precious and dear Amunet; why did she leave on her own? Skyard stood upon his feet and walked sloppily to the opposite side of the room. He swiftly grabbed a hold of what little clothing he did possess, and immediately slipped on his black pants, black leather shoes, his crimson shirt, black vest and belt. Following getting dressed in a hurry he bolted for the door; it flung open as he twisted away roughly at the knob. His legs extended to their furthest reach as he ran down the street toward the market.

Not many individuals were around at this bell, and he was very well aware of that. Skyard gritted his teeth, and the muscles in his face became much more tense. The thought of her being harmed practically tore his psyche asunder; he hunted her down as if she were prey, and he hadn't had a meal in multiple days. Skyards fear only drove him to find her faster, and he did not care who he had to run over or step on to get to her.

There she was; her clear and visible red hair was off in the distance and she continued to move. Skyards face reddened as the blood rose to the surface beneath his skin. He was absolutely positively livid at the fact that she had left him. Did this woman want to tempt death, had she been lost, was her “stalker” around? Skyard had absolutely no clue, however one thing he did know was that he would scold her to the high heavens.

The Importance of Simply Changing

Postby Amunet on April 12th, 2016, 1:27 am

Amunet was in no hurry as she made the bridge. She looked up to see the Cora apartments up the tier. The girl was even humming a little tune as she made her slow procession towards the place. Her arms full of wrapped items that she had purchase to make the Handsome Man dinner. That was a perplexing thing as he didn’t give her a name. The red head didn’t know why and she may ask today. The young lady stopped to look at the Blue Vein river below her and thought it was a beautiful thing. Those light blue eyes watched the birds fly under the bridge as some of them had nests in the crevices of the bridge. The waters below moved steadily in its designed course by the gods. She smiled at these things. The city wasn’t too bad. It didn’t offer the freedom of living in the tents, but it wasn’t too bad either.

As she turned, one of the packages had dropped. A tallish human man comes up from behind her. He had been watching her progress for some time and now that the tall kid with the blonde hair wasn’t around, he could toy with the little tart. He picked up the package and handed it to her as he smiled at the sweet face. “You dropped this, Miss.” He said all suave and kind like. It was to lure then in like candy to a child.

Amunet had turned to pick it up only to see the hand as she smiled up to the dark haired man. “Oh, Thank you.” She giggled as she raked a strand over her ear that flowed with the breeze. “That’s very kind of you. “ The package was placed back on the precarious position she carried things. Maybe she should have brought a mesh bag.

“A pretty girl like you alone? Surely you belong to one of the Akalak’s families.” He knew darn well that wasn’t true but it would draw the girl in more.

“No, I was alone, I mean im not alone. “ Those dark eyes had a bit of an unsettling feel the way he looked at her. It was her nerves she thought. That’s it. Her nerves this man was just being nice. “Are you visiting or you live somewhere.”

The man smiled his oily little smile as he inclined his head. “Visiting, on a contract.” That was very true. “So here for a short visit then, yourself?”

“Yes, sorting out some things before I go back home. It is nice though here.” Her voice was soft and gentle. The cloud cover was moving in quickly as the winds picked up threatening to downpour. “well looks like Zulrav wants to play today too. “ That was said after a peel of lightning forked across the sky and the thunder echoed. It did not frighten Amunet at all as many where starting to hurry to get under cover. “Well I guess I should get going.”

The hand went to her arm and squeezed firmly. “I’m not done yet.” There was a glimmer of menace. He twitched a little minute with the nose and his left eye spasmed oddly. Then let her go as they were out in the open. The red head started backing away from him. Then did probably something someone shouldn’t do and that was turn her back and start walking away. Her back was to this man.

He watched her walk away resisting every urge he had to take her in several meanings of that phrase. He wouldn’t be harming her persay. She would still be in one piece and alive. The contract stated to be not harmed. Didn’t say in what condition. The man rationalized his agenda. Rubbing his chin with malicious thoughts leering at the girl’s back as he quirked a smile up on one side and turned to walk the opposite way from the girl. Soon, very soon.

The girl huffed a sigh as she continued her way towards that side of Riverfall where the apartments were. Amunet didn’t hurry because she wasn’t afraid of the rain. It was Zulrav’s and Makutsi’s gifts. Why fear a gift? Her mind settled down after that little weird interaction but she pushed it away as the thoughts of making the Handsome Man’s dinner re-established itself in the forefront.

The Importance of Simply Changing

Skyards forehead began to perspire as he remained in hot pursuit of his precious Amunet. Skyard ran out of breath as his legs burned and stung as they were filled with lactic acid. He hadn't been used to running distances; not even in a panicked state like he was in now. He watched something odd occur, as he got ever so close to her and realized that some sort of confrontation went on. Skyard approached just as the man released her hand and she walked off. The Kelvic was absolutely livid; he hadn't ever seen that particular Akalak a day in his life. Skyard grew incredibly suspicious at the sight of her walking away from him.

Skyard finally caught her, and it was time for him to act; he charged forth again despite being incredibly tired. He gritted his teeth and his jaw muscles clenched in preparation for a hefty scolding; what was she doing? “Amunet!” He screamed at the top of his lungs as he approached her with incredible speed. He stepped directly in front of her; he was completely and totally out of breath to the point of where he could hardly speak. Skyard could not even breathe; did she think that even for a moment she was safe without him at her side?

Skyard took a moment to breathe and gather his thoughts; as he swiftly realized that she came back with food. She seemed to have purchased quite a bit, and they were all ingredients of various colors; skyard has never had a home cooked meal. The Kelvic tended to eat all of his meals raw, and never once had the luxury of enjoying a “meal”. He parted his lips and began the scolding session immediately

“What in blazes were you thinking leaving me!? You could've been killed you foolish woman! How dare you not wake me from my slumber! That could have been the last time I got to witness your wild and beautiful hair! That could have been the last time I got to smell your wonderful scent or even know that you were alive! Are you absolutely insane woman! I love you and I never want you to do that again! Do you understand me ?!” He exclaimed as he stopped the woman in her tracks.

His heart throbbed hard for a moment as he realized what he'd just said. He revealed to her that he “Loved” her; Skyard did not mean to let those words slip and hopefully she paid no attention to them. If she had then things could become awkward very quickly; Skyard prepared to lie immediately if she asked him to repeat what he said. Although he knew for himself that he would likely be impulsive and tell her exactly what he said.

Skyard had already broken a sweat when he ran all the way over to her in a panic. He feared for her life, and his own simultaneously because he did not know what or whom he might have been up against had she been captured. Skyard continued to think about the fact that he may soon regret what he'd just said to the lovely woman. However, he felt conflicted simultaneously because of the fact that it was what he wanted to say.

The Importance of Simply Changing

Postby Amunet on April 13th, 2016, 9:56 pm

Amunet saw him running towards her like a raging bull. The red head was unsure rather it was a good thing or not. She barely knew the man. The clouds built overhead, rolling and skittering lightning would paint the rolling clouds that deepened to a blue charcoal grey color. The wind that picked up felt nice and still she was unafraid. The woman grew up in this weather. The Healer continued her slow walk across the long bridge. The Handsome man did move awefuly quickly as he caught up with her out of breath. She was torn if she needed to heal him or something as he struggled to catch his breath. The look of concern crossed those delicate features of the flower before him. Once he caught his breath, Handsome Man started his rant and rave. He was angry? This was utterly confusing. The expression more than spoke she had absolutely no thought any perceived danger. Amunet perceived none at this time as she held onto her packages.

“What in blazes were you thinking leaving me!? You could've been killed you foolish woman! How dare you not wake me from my slumber!"

“But I went to get things to make dinner. You have nothing in the larder. How am I to cook for you without anything?” Her expression went from concerned to tragic and taken back by his anger. Her chest tightened as she didn’t understand why he was so angry.

"That could have been the last time I got to witness your wild and beautiful hair! That could have been the last time I got to smell your wonderful scent or even know that you were alive! Are you absolutely insane woman! I love you and I never want you to do that again! Do you understand me ?!”

Blink… Blink… Blink…

There were a few chimes that went by. “What? “ What did he hear? Her hearing was quite good and so was her intelligence but this madness was pushing her sanity to the test. “What did you say?” She asked softly as she lookd up into his cerulean eyes that was boiling between passion and iciness.

It came without courting. It came with barely a kiss or any kind of personal interchange. It came without a date. The girl didn’t even know the guy and he said what? “I don’t even know your name? “ She said with silk and softness. It was at that moment that a large drop or two hit the stone before the skies opened up and down poured. Amunet stood there letting the rain wash over her. The wet linen cloth hugged her little form. It was if Zulrav himself was creating a curtain as they made sense out of this craziness. The moments became ticks that melted into chimes as she looked into his eyes.

She took a deep breath and then worked her way around his form to make it back to the apartment to do something she knows. The girl didn’t know about love or personal relationships. No, she did not understand. The girl was not sure how she felt about the admission or anything else she heard. No one has ever spoken to her like this. Her brow remained in the confused expression for some time as she walked to the apartment and entered there in soaking wet.

The Importance of Simply Changing

The first thing that crossed the Kelvics mind had been one word “Petch”. She heard everything that he said, and he immediately knew that consequences would fall upon him if he didn't act quickly. He did not want her to know that he felt that way for her; especially not when they had just met. Skyard did not want to reveal anything, and it was not his intention. “Petch my instincts; why must I be so blunt?!” he questioned himself in silence as he listened to the next word she spoke. She questioned it, and he debated for a split-tick about what he would do next. Would he lie to her in order to cover himself? Perhaps he should simply not say another word, and remain reserved. Skyard continued to weigh the options until he came to a conclusion. The beads of sweat upon his forehead finally dried, and suddenly he heard the sound of a mere two rain droplets.

The rain drops struck the ground, and dispersed; whilst the clouds parted and the downpour began. Skyard enjoyed the rain, and he had been very tempted to take off his shirt and walk home. However; since he was with company he did the courteous thing and acted “civil”. He simply grasped hold of the young ladies opposite hand, and escorted her home. He knew that by telling her that he loved her he made a “mistake”. Due to the fact that things between them would never be the same after he spouted those words from his mouth. He hadn't ever said them before; not even to his former master, and he questioned rather or not he was the same person from the past.

Skyard knew that all things, human and animal undergo changes at various points in life. Changes in organisms were the direct result of an adaptation of some sort. Whether or not the adaptation was to environment, social standing or another factor it still occurred. Skyard had just begun to understand the concept as he broke out of his deep state of thought and decided to speak. They entered his “home” and Amunet had already been completely drenched with water. Skyard felt absolutely horrid for not bringing a coat so that he could've protected her from the water.

“Amunet, I am very sorry for not telling you my name, and for not answering your initial question on the way home. I will simply be a man about the entire situation, and tell you the truth. I told you that I loved you, and I am very sorry if that offends you or makes you upset in any way shape or form. I panicked because of the fact that I care about you... My name is Skyard.. Skyard Underwood. I suppose that if I am to continue protecting you that you should know anyway.”

He concluded his speech, as her confused expression remained solid and unchanging. Skyard grew concerned; would the woman eventually lash out at him? He felt as if he were about to be struck with something, and it would likely be her fist or her palm. However, he felt as if the end result would be worth a bit of pain. Skyard never minded facing the consequences of his actions, and in his eyes her reaction could be one of them. He simply stood at a distance, and awaited a response as the room fell silent.

The Importance of Simply Changing

Postby Amunet on April 19th, 2016, 1:38 am

‘Skyard Underwood’ He said his name. The little lady processed that name as she mulled it over in her mind, Skyard. It was a different name and oddly it reminded her of her own as her name was not typically Drykas. Her mother had said it was an old name. That was all she ever said. She whispered in her silken soft voice his name “Skyard.” Still the confused and speculative expression did not lesson or change. It stayed that way as she worked on dinner. Amunet did nothing to the man or said anything else for several chimes even a bell as she prepared dinner to be cooked.

There was the fire to build up, which with the rain that cooled things down drastically was a welcome change for her. it warmed the apartment up to where she was comfortable. Once the boar was on the spit she took a moment to change out of the wet clothes. The cordoned and curtained off portion she used to do such private things she went behind to peel the green dress off and put on dry linen pants and top. Her under things was even wet. She sighed as she came around the curtain and set her things out to dry. With a sigh, she loosely tied her damp hair in a loose pony tail that billowed around her face. Strands of hair was already escaping as she tended to making potatoes, cooked early succulent greens and prepared the apples to be baked with the walnuts and honey.

The woman did this when she was faced with emotional difficulty. Amunet drove herself to work. While she still had that confused expression on her face, she went about remaking he bed and tidying up the place. The red head huffed a sigh as she went to fetch a rag and damped it slightly to dust with. There was a rag somehow in her hand as she went wiping things down. The little lady continued cleaning like this till she stopped and stared at him. “Why? How do you know? What does it mean?”

Why did he love her, how did he know he loved her and what did it all mean to him. This kind of love escaped her. She wanted a deep kind of love but how did you know what it felt like what it was made of and where it came from. The confused girl sat down at the table as she looked at the wood and fidgeted with the rag in her hand. “I don’t understand.” The fear boiled up in her of what if this was a trick. What if he was some nefarious person that was after her virtue and said those things just to do those naughty deeds. Amunet blushed. “What are your intentions?” The girl suddenly demanded as this was said out of fear. It may become clear that she has no experience in these matters of the heart or the pleasure. If it wasn’t the fear of that, it was what may result that she was most afraid of.

She swallowed hard as she stood up suddenly. “I must see to dinner.” She said crisply and found innumerable things to do, to work so she didn’t have to think about those things.

The Kelvic observed the young woman's actions, and immediately became bewildered as he observed her reaction. Skyard finally gave her his name, and he felt a bit relived about the fact that she “knew” who he was. She had not bothered to say too much for a moment after he spoke his name to her, and suddenly he watched her step away briefly. He sat back and watched, as the lass undressed; despite the fact that she had done so while covered. Skyard grew intrigued the moment she began to undress herself; he watched as the dark silhouette appeared beneath the curtain. The Kelvics eyes widened as the clothing fell to the ground, and his heart practically erupted from his chest cavity. Perfect curvature, and a slender physique were both very clearly evident.

A sigh exited his lips briefly, and he stepped forth; Skyard approached her rather slowly in a calm manner. Skyard came to deeply regret several of the thoughts that he had earlier, and especially the sudden outburst he gave her. Skyard never did intend to tell her that he loved her, but the moment he did he knew that it would forever change things between them. He waited for her to finish the process of cleaning, and suddenly she beckoned him with a question. “What does it mean?” Skyard took a brief moment to think about it, and he figured that she must have misunderstood him earlier. When he told her that he loved her he did not say it without meaning it. However, she seemed to be incapable of understanding why it was that he did love her.

Why did he love her? Skyard asked himself for a brief moment as he thought about how he would answer the question. The Kelvic took several chimes before he finally did speak, and she said that she did not understand. Therefore, Skyard decided that he would finally tell her the truth and unveil himself to her because he felt like he could trust her. He did not intend to allow a single question to push him to the point of revealing himself, and now he had to follow through with an answer. If he did not answer her question he felt as if he would inevitably be doomed at having a chance with her.

Therefore, the very next time she asked him a question he decided that he would answer wholeheartedly. She asked him what his intentions were, and Skyard could only hold his breath for a moment before he answered. His intentions were rather simple, and they were to protect, serve, honor and love her. “Listen to me, Amunet.. My mission is to show you how much I care for you, and even if it means that I will die, I will protect you. I love you, because of the fact that you are strong despite the fact that you appear to be weak. You are beautiful, you are absolutely amazing and I feel as if I never want to leave your side. “ He spoke in a hushed tone, and following the conclusion of his speech he stepped away briefly to get rid of his sopping wet clothing.

Skyard could only hope that she understood why he loved her, and he hoped that she knew he was sincere. Skyard popped his head around the corner to the kitchen; although he was naked he chose to finalize with a single sentence. “I am a Kelvic, and perhaps that will help you understand why I feel so strongly for you despite the fact that we haven't long met my love. “ Skyard whispered to her and stepped back off in order to shed his clothing and change into his typical white shirt, and a more comfortable pair of trousers.

The Importance of Simply Changing

Postby Amunet on April 21st, 2016, 10:49 pm

She fussed with the meal that was wafting the apartment with savory and sweet scents. The girl moved to sit down as he had moved and listened to him. The young healer was trying to understand his reasoning but it certainly wasn’t Drykas. ‘Well, this isn’t Drykas so maybe things like this work different.’ It had to be something like that. The reasoning made sense only in that context to her. The strength in his words lead her to believe him, to feel the words to be genuine and part of her wanted to grab onto that and hold on tightly. Was she being foolish? He had went around the curtain to get out of his wet clothes as she went to sit down at the table and wait for him. The kettle was starting to heat up as this was definitely a tea moment. A nice calming tea would help. He started speaking to answer her questions at that point which took her breath away.

The red head had calmed down to consider several things. Her people versus what she really wanted. “The Drykas way is different. You so sure and confident in those words. “ She said in her basic common diction. “it sacred this, Love. Community, family combine to make Love. Know not this Love that comes from no where. Its like.. Magic. “ The last she said very softly and with an awe expression on her face. “My people marriage arranged. It is to gain advantage in trade or strengthen a pavilion. Love not always considered. I was almost married once. I couldn’t go through with it. The man that I was supposed to join with, betrayed me and sold me to someone. two days tied out in the grasslands. Knights rescued me and brought me here. Love that you speak of is a luxury. There is love of children, life and home. Love of mate it is said will come later. “ The why did escape her because she wasn’t sure how love could exist in such a chaotic fashion instead of the careful homey way. There was passion as she seen it in some families. They were an argumentative race but passionate and caring for each other.

He had went around the curtain for a fresh shirt and trouse. He was easy on the eyes that was sure. Nakedness for the Drykas was nothing but a thing. Amunet was also a Medical professional. The woman had seen more nakedness in a clinical fashion than any young person her age had seen it. The Kelvic’s nakedness did not bother her. Her eyebrows both raised when he announced he was Kelvic. Amunet had met a number of Kelvics as her hands went to physically tick things off in her brain as she pondered this. They were an emotional race. “Kelvic? Really?” Those eyes went from confused to bright curiosity in a fraction of a tick.

This had the girl actually going around the curtain and looking at him up and down as he was putting his trouse on. “What kind of Kelvic?” Her eyes wide as dinner plates as she whispered it in kind to the man. Her eyes looked right into his own eyes. That little head tilted to the side as she moved forward. The linen shirt was a natural color but it threatened to dip off of her shoulder as she looked up. Her hand went to his face having to stretch up to reach it as she was looking for something in his eyes. This was very important to her. There was a lot of passion in his eyes and emotion. The icy cerulean gaze was not icy to her at all. The girl didn’t see guile or any retraction. In fact his eyes were steady, strong and focused. They were intelligent and deep. Maybe, Just maybe. Amunet was a naturally caring person. “You can look upon me and not shun me?”

This was an important question and as a Kelvic he may not understand so she chose to explain. “I do not have windmarks. I had them, but the gods took them back in the summer season last turn of the year. I am not pretty. Some consider me not Drykas though im bonded and did have them. Marriage is very difficult.” Her hand went to the side of the face. “only this. Rak’keli’s grace. I am a healer. “ This meant several things including she traveled often to heal the sick which meant being in danger more often than not. “Used to being alone, but you.. want to be with me? This hard to understand. “ There is a lovely little lilt as she speaks that is the Drykas dialect coming out in the common. “Seems like I'm all over the place. “ As she shook her head and put a hand on her own cheek standing there with him half dressed. The girl turned to move from the curtain and back to the kitchen.

The Importance of Simply Changing

Skyard listened closely to her words, and allowed her voice to caress his ears. She was incredibly beautiful, and Skyard still fawned over her regardless of how much he saw her. Suddenly she spoke softly; following the way that she told him she did not know where his “love” came from. However he grew intrigued the moment she began to talk about her culture. Skyard learned very quickly why she did not understand how a man could “love” so spontaneously. Her culture differed from that of the “outside world” in the sense that they operated in a much more simplistic fashion. She had been joined with a man previously, and betrayed by him. That explained why she did not seem to want to be with Skyard, and from that point on he knew that he would have to change her. They married before they fell in love with their spouse, and eventually learned to love that person. Skyard continued to rationalize as she spoke; while he stepped away to change clothes.

She seemed to have been shocked when he said that he was a Kelvic. Had she been familiar with Kelvics and their nature? He knew that he was a Lion Kelvic; that he was a predator and likely much larger than any Kelvic she met in the past. The moment that she asked him what kind of Kelvic he was he did not want to spoil the surprise; therefore he simply decided that he would remove the remainder of his clothing.

She beckoned him with a question; could he look upon her without shunning her? Skyard immediately raised a brow the moment she bothered to ask. Why in the world would any man ever shun her? Amunet was absolutely gorgeous and he knew that in his mind he would take her anywhere she asked him to. The Kelvic responded in a few short and simple words; “My love, What man could ever shun you? You are beautiful, and incredibly amazing at that. Your personality is amazing in the sense that you are caring and incredibly gentle. Your eyes are comparable to vast oceans of wonderful crashing waves.” He concluded his speech and stepped out from beneath the curtain completely nude.

Skyard came to the realization that she believed she was ugly due to the fact that she had no “windmarks”. Which were supposedly a sign of beauty in their culture now he knew why she thought she was so unattractive. Yet, she did not know about the fact that in riverfall; windmarks, or no windmarks she would still be considered incredibly attractive. She was a woman in a city filled with men and testostorone. She was “bonded” and he thought for a moment that the horse was a kelvic; however, he would not pursue the subject and question it. The moment that she turned toward the Kitchen; he grasped hold of her hand and turned her about. Skyard absolutely refused to let go and he wanted to explain himself to the young lady.

The moment that he turned her around he grasped hold of her hips; despite being completely nude he leaned forward and kissed the womans lips. He gently caressed her visage as he'd done so; his thumb ran along the womans cheek bone. The kiss was incredibly gentle, and soft. This time he chose to be slow, and savor the moment; therefore rather than letting go of the kiss immediately he held it for a bit. After he released the kiss and held on to her for a moment; he spoke again.

“Amunet, you are absolutely incredible and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I know that you may have a great and deep respect for your culture, but you are not there right now. You are present in Riverfall; the most beautiful city of them all. Might I compare you to a beautiful flower among the most gorgeous meadow ;blooming as you please and causing the remainder of the patch to flourish. You are incredibly gorgeous, and if you ever stop believing that I will be here to reassure you that you are not ugly. You are the furthest thing from ugly, and the absolute opposite of unattractive; any real man would want to whisk you away and claim you as his own.” Skyard spoke briefly.
