[Rearing Stallion] Room for confusion! (Piper)

It wasn't so much that she had gotten in trouble a lot, that one time was very marking and even now she had a couple of knights whisper behind her back. She mostly ignored it, but she just knew that if she ever had to speak to a superior about the way squires were trained, it would be simply ignored. "Nah, not so much that I got in trouble a lot. It's just... a bit complicated. That's all.", she said trying to brush it off.

The girl nailed it in regards to guys. They were boorish, filthy, always trying to show off or even outright harass girls. Even when she was small she wasn't really fond of those... guys. They teased her, but also her little sister, which was even worse. Perhaps that's where here disliking guys started, which developed into hatred over time. "Don't get me started on those vagiks. Besides them being stupid, they are filthy, rock hard, and about everything a girl or woman isn't. I just.. argh. I don't even wanna think about em right now.", she said.

Of course that she said that didn't stop her from thinking about them. Only when the girl across her started to ask about Myri was she able to put her thoughts about them out of her head. "If her mark was in an indecent place, I could still show you, just in private. If I want to show you, we'd have to get a room, as I ain't stripping here. In fact... why shouldn't we get a room after this? Then I could also show you some of the scars I've received so far.", she said rather casually. Of course, if the girl didn't want to take her invitation, Revy wasn't gonna press it. However, she would be happy if her conversation partner did.

Despite her looking quite boyish, some of the more female aspects still showed through. Like the softer looks of her face. Then again, there were boys who could go through for a girl. Revy had been fooled by one of those before. But she knew that Piper was a girl, which was a relief. "My meeting with her was... breath taking. At first I didn't even know I was talking to Myri. I reckoned I was just talking to a regular myrian, well... regular not really, because she just commanded respect by being there. She was just that what you could except out of the goddess of the Myrians. She loves her people and... She's a real beauty. Even if I had wanted to look away, I just couldn't."

Revy meeting Myri was not really a turning point for her, it was more that it defined her road. The woman was on a path of violence, it just needed to be directed to a cause and she needed to be able to live with it. Both Myri and her joining the knights gave her that. Whenever she fought now, she prayed to her goddess to grant her the strength to win. "My meeting her really.. I don't really know what it changed for me, but if I were to die, I would want to keep serving her. I want to be reborn a myrian in the case I die. And I hope Myri will help with that.", she said.

The next question went a whole different path and kind of threw Revy aback at first, but she quickly regained composure as she replied: "It's mostly guys, from what I can see, but there are women. My patron is a woman in fact and I wouldn't have it any other way. I wouldn't really mind it too much now if they would put me under a guy, as long as I'm not the only woman under him. I still have to work with them if I want to become a proper knight, you know?"

[Rearing Stallion] Room for confusion! (Piper)

Postby Piper Quinn on March 4th, 2015, 8:51 am

"Oh, I see..." Piper trailed off into her own thoughts before shrugging. Everything in life it seemed was complicated. Nothing easy was worth talking about. Piper let it go, whatever was eating at Revy would come out one day if it bothered her that much, and if she needed an ear to listen Piper would be there.

"V-vagiks? You really do hate them. Most don't notice I'm female by birth. Besides how would they? I lack breasts of any kind as long as I don't complete undress in front of them I'm just some gangling teenage boy." Piper trailed off," Everything a women's not... Where does that leave me, I wonder..." She wasn't really asking anyone.

Piper gave Revy a confused look, "Miss Revy, are you hitting on me?" She stopped to think, "I suppose, it depends... Am I just another person to show these scars to? Will I wake up after seeing these scars tomorrow and find you long gone or showing someone else? Besides, there are much prettier girl here? Why me? I look like a guy.." Just because Piper was a little foggy in the gender area didn't mean she didn't have feelings and being a simple new notch on someone's belt didn't appeal to her either.

Piper was happy when Revy moved to Myri. Revy had a real respect for her and seemed to remember every detail of the meeting. A gorgeous goddess appearing from nowhere or everywhere. Maybe both? "Myrians are women ruled, right? Is that why you dislike men or did that happen before Myri?"

Piper gave a chuckle, "If I came to you and you were a knight, would you take me in? Just theoretically, that is. I like what I am right now."

[Rearing Stallion] Room for confusion! (Piper)

Postby Revy Hiroe on March 11th, 2015, 8:51 pm

Though Revy was a bit confused at first, she couldn't really see Piper as a guy. It was just something about her face, she guessed. It wasn't as... square, or so? Then again, she didn't really want to think of this girl as a guy. "Well.. I don't know why, at least not for sure, but I just dont think you are like a guy. Then again, I don't want to see you as one.", she said, "Maybe it's coz I wanted to see you as a girl."

Piper kind of nailed it, but not quite. It wasn't that Revy was just gonna be getting another in bed, but at the same time, right now she just wanted someone. At least someone she could talk to a bit. "Well, you're right in a sense. I ain't just gonna share the bed with you and disappear on ya, but I ain't want something with strings attached, ya know?", the woman explained. "If I hadn't had fun talking to you so far, I wouldn't have tried. I ain't no person like that. Well.. I just ain't looking for a relationship right now. Just something a bit more light hearted?"

Myrians were a matriarchal society, that was true. But Revy had a strong dislike of men way before that already. "Nah, ain't started to hate em because of how the myrians live. Though I do like their system. I hate em coz... of a certain incident in the past. I... don't really want to talk about that right now. Perhaps I'll share that story with you later, when I get to know you a bit better. Ain't just gonna share all of my history with a stranger I've just met."

[Rearing Stallion] Room for confusion! (Piper)

Piper shrugged, "Could be. I always say I am what you see. I'm like one of those pictures that are two things at the same time. Once you see one, it's hard to spot the other. You just happened to spot the harder to see picture first." Piper gave a tomboyish grin.

She listened to Revy's proposal open mindedly, it was the least the bard could do. It didn't matter that Revy was a woman, in fact it was the last thing on her mind. Gender mattered little to Piper, it was more the person in the body than the body itself. Piper sighed and gave another shrug. "Fine, but don't get the notion that I'll forget you that easily." She grinned. "If I ever hear you're in the market for a relationship, and I wasn't your first pick. I'll be upset, no beyond upset." Sure, she was a bit younger than the squire. But did it matter?

"But first let me eat my dinner. After all you bought it for me." Her food had came earlier while the two had been talking and despite holding off to eat she was starving. She was newly on her own from her mother and still learning the ways of adult life. Some things were harder than others. Sometimes she went without eating. So today's meal was more than welcome.

Revy was honestly surprised when she heard Piper's reply. The girls she did talk to, and weren't straight, either weren't interested, or wanted something more lasting. That was one of the reasons why she had been alone for such a while now. The fact that Sayren vanished didn't seem to have hurt as much as she thought it would. At least, not as much as when Zand didn't pay attention to her.

The woman couldn't help bit smile widely. "I know I know. The few I had so far were.... a bit clingy at the end. And I felt kind of suffocated. Though I doubt you'll be like that. You seem a bit more.. detached?" Of course, she didn't know for sure, but this was her first opinion about this bard. "But I'll keep you in mind for sure. Maybe you could convince me to actually consider a relationship again, who knows?"

Joking around was always fun. As long as it wasn't hurtful or anything. It was even more fun to see this kid just shove the food down, as if she hadn't eaten in days. Why did she always want to hang out with these young girls? It wasn't like she fell for them right? Could it have something to do with... nah, it couldn't be. She couldn't still be hung up over her dead little sister, could she?

[Rearing Stallion] Room for confusion! (Piper)

Piper certainly ate like a boy, shoveling more food then one should into their mouths. She ate as if the food would up and scurry away on her if she didn't take immediate action. The food here was pretty good. She rarely ate at taverns and was always somewhat skeptical of a place that catered to the drinking population's food. In the bard's mind tavern food always smelled and tasted like ale. Everything soggy and ale soaked. Thankfully that was all in her mind. They food was not soggy, didn't smell or taste like ale, she could and would most certainly eat here again. Before she knew it she had cleaned her plate, and realized what a glutton she had been. "Oh...Wow..." was her only reply to her ravenous appetite.

Looking at Revy the bard could only wonder what she was thinking. She seemed to be looking beyond Piper and somewhere out in space. She couldn't even begin to try and imagine what was going through the woman's head. Compared to Revy, Piper was no more than a tot.

Piper smirked back at Revy, "Suffocating, huh?" She wasn't sure she herself would be suffocating, but she did end up being a pain in the ass to most. Not that she meant to be... "Detached? Hmm..." The bard shrugged. "I care about things, but not more than I can count on my hand. My grandfather's fiddle and keeping my mom fed. Most of the money I make I give to her, even though I don't live at home anymore.... "Don't got a dad to take care of her, so I do."

Piper smiled, "Heh, I haven't ever had a relationship, being as I am is confusing to most so I keep to myself. Easier that way. Besides no one male or female has ever shown any interest in me."

Of course this girl had stuff she cared about too. The woman didn't quite agree with this girl giving away her hard earned money to her mother, but that was her choice. Would it be wise to at least advise her to save up some for herself? Though the woman did give away some of her own money as well. Way back in Sunberth.

Perhaps it was time to visit her hometown again... Well, she'd have to get knighted, or should leave the knights. The longer she was with the knights, the more she doubted this living style was for her. She loved how the knights lived and everything. She liked their ideals, but it felt.... restricting sometimes and lately she felt more refreshed when she woke up.

"Personally I'd not advise you to give away all your money to your mother. Though I don't really know the situation between you and her.", she said, "I'm just slightly worried you might be skipping on meals to help your mother, seeing how you wolfed down that meal." She couldn't help but laugh a little when she said that.

It kind of amazed her that people didn't have any interest in this girl. Well, she could understand why guys didn't have it, but women? She had a decent looking face and didn't seem to be untrustworthy. Surely there have been straight women who have shown interest in this brat, right? "Can't really understand why they wouldn't pay attention to you. I won't go out of my way to say you are pretty, but you aren't ugly and you sort of have a soothing presence."
