It wasn't so much that she had gotten in trouble a lot, that one time was very marking and even now she had a couple of knights whisper behind her back. She mostly ignored it, but she just knew that if she ever had to speak to a superior about the way squires were trained, it would be simply ignored. "Nah, not so much that I got in trouble a lot. It's just... a bit complicated. That's all.", she said trying to brush it off. The girl nailed it in regards to guys. They were boorish, filthy, always trying to show off or even outright harass girls. Even when she was small she wasn't really fond of those... guys. They teased her, but also her little sister, which was even worse. Perhaps that's where here disliking guys started, which developed into hatred over time. "Don't get me started on those vagiks. Besides them being stupid, they are filthy, rock hard, and about everything a girl or woman isn't. I just.. argh. I don't even wanna think about em right now.", she said. Of course that she said that didn't stop her from thinking about them. Only when the girl across her started to ask about Myri was she able to put her thoughts about them out of her head. "If her mark was in an indecent place, I could still show you, just in private. If I want to show you, we'd have to get a room, as I ain't stripping here. In fact... why shouldn't we get a room after this? Then I could also show you some of the scars I've received so far.", she said rather casually. Of course, if the girl didn't want to take her invitation, Revy wasn't gonna press it. However, she would be happy if her conversation partner did. Despite her looking quite boyish, some of the more female aspects still showed through. Like the softer looks of her face. Then again, there were boys who could go through for a girl. Revy had been fooled by one of those before. But she knew that Piper was a girl, which was a relief. "My meeting with her was... breath taking. At first I didn't even know I was talking to Myri. I reckoned I was just talking to a regular myrian, well... regular not really, because she just commanded respect by being there. She was just that what you could except out of the goddess of the Myrians. She loves her people and... She's a real beauty. Even if I had wanted to look away, I just couldn't." Revy meeting Myri was not really a turning point for her, it was more that it defined her road. The woman was on a path of violence, it just needed to be directed to a cause and she needed to be able to live with it. Both Myri and her joining the knights gave her that. Whenever she fought now, she prayed to her goddess to grant her the strength to win. "My meeting her really.. I don't really know what it changed for me, but if I were to die, I would want to keep serving her. I want to be reborn a myrian in the case I die. And I hope Myri will help with that.", she said. The next question went a whole different path and kind of threw Revy aback at first, but she quickly regained composure as she replied: "It's mostly guys, from what I can see, but there are women. My patron is a woman in fact and I wouldn't have it any other way. I wouldn't really mind it too much now if they would put me under a guy, as long as I'm not the only woman under him. I still have to work with them if I want to become a proper knight, you know?" |
