Synopsis: Combat styles play a critical part in Mizahar. These are based upon Character lores, not skills, and thus can be highly varied. These lores, however, can generally be broken down into influencing tactical usage of a weapon or one’s own body (unarmed) in combat. These may then be categorized according to style, ranging from a generic style that all characters know (Standard Style) to common or easily learned styles (such as Classical [OOC based of off Greco-Roman styles]) to rare or even race specific styles (such as Pyken, under development by Ball currently). Each category, or Style, is an over-reaching concept including any and all styles (since it is humanly impossible to list all possible combat styles specifically, I decided to go with over-arching style-types) that fall under the description and tactics of said “Primary Style Type.” After an introduction to combat styles, each Style will have a description of its characteristics, primary tactics, primary lores, preferred weaponry, and potential supplementary skills. There will also be notes on how/how easily the primary lores may be learned.
