Hwyn ate quickly and quietly, taking quick small bite barely taking time to chew, one might compare it to watching a small ravenous animal eat f they were inclined to observe the process. Listening o the two men talk they made it seem as if the those who lived upon the ship where family of sorts. living together and fighting and eating together every day. Perhaps their was something to be said for that sort of relationship they all shared.
It certainly didn't sound to terribly horrible though Hwyn's temperament might have been slightly effected by the fact that he had just been fed, which usually always made him more amiable.
When asked as to whether or not he was enjoying the meal Hwyn nodded but held his tongue as he was still busy filling his mouth. What Hwyn didn't expect to be asked was whether or not he was joining them on their next voyage. It wasn't something he was to sure about. He didn't really have anything tying him to Syliras so it's not like he needed to stay. In a city where their as little need anywhere. After being handed the leather band it was like an almost coercive invitation had been handed to him. Looking at Shimoje then at the man called Siv Hwyn furrowed his brow.
"Sir, I'm not the strongest, or the smartest, but... I think that if this crew could use me.... I think it would be okay to see the world with you all..."
It was a job offer that Hwyn couldn't really refuse. If it allowed him to earn money, and to travel, then he would give sailing a try, he held no delusion that the art of sailing was something he knew nothing about, but Shimo said that he too had once known very little about it either.
"So Shimo, Uhm.. what kind of supplies are we looking for? and.. can i help?"
Hwyn wanted to prove that he could be useful somehow and it seemed that helping Shimoje might be a good way to start. If they were just raveling down the beach it couldn't be too incredibly hard to find whatever the man needed. the question was, what was it?
