Character ConceptAs a person, Levali can be summed up in a single word. Decisive. Not every action she takes she does in maximum effort, but one can be assured she picked it without hesitation. Once she elects a goal she will be driven to follow through fully with it, and rarely allows herself to falter in such things even when odds are against her. Her main goal as of Summer 516 AV is to figure out the meaning of her father's list, and accomplish whatever he was unable to do now that he has been imprisoned. She's not above lying in dire circumstances, but likes to think herself an honest person in most regards.

AppearenceStanding at exactly five feet tall and weighing at 126 pounds, Levali isn't exactly the biggest person. She is about average strength and has slightly darker skin in the way that most others of her race do. Her dark hair is worn back in a ponytail for the most part, and otherwise would fall down just to the height of her shoulderblades.. But in the right light, one might be able to perceive a subtle glimmer of crimson red reflecting off of it due to her Vanthra heritage. In addition to this, her eyes shift color with her mood - As seen below.
Character HistoryLevali was born in Avanthal to a studious man and a mason for the city. As far as children went, she was always very confident and bold in her actions. Having seen the members of the Icewatch perform their routines and protecting their people from the windows of her own home, she decided from a very young age that she would one day be one of such warriors.
The thought that she might fail never even occurred to her.
Her father, who was named Toldeth, saw the world from an academic's perspective. Even though he knew where his daughter's ambitions lay, he taught her in his free time the basics of mathematics and logic - Telling her that they were essential skills for understanding the world as it truly is. She was a decent student, though lacked the ambition on such subjects as her father did. Her thoughts were of swordplay and battles against terrible dangers who threatened to harm Morwen's people.. She took for granted the opportunity when he offered the ability to teach his understanding of magic to her, saying that when she was a knight that reading glyphs was the last thing she was going to be doing. Perhaps if she understood how precious such an opportunity was, she might be in a better place in the present.
Despite this, she had glanced upon his work enough times to gain the most basic understanding of glyphing. The scrolls were simply pictures that represented a greater whole; Like a blueprint. Only he was building temporary magic instead of houses.
Finally, at the age of twenty, Levali had applied to join the Icewatch - Only to be declined. Not because they didn't want people, or because she was too weak, but because of her father's crimes against the city. It was discovered during her initiation that Toldeth had been scheming against the Queen of Winter, and was shortly thereafter subjected to an indefinite time in imprisonment. Halfheartedly, the girl picked up her mother's trade of masonry. She accompanied her to work each day and learned under her stern orders what do do and what not to do. As seasons later changed, not much else did.
What got him caught was the time that he accidentally burned down a part of the arvina in his attempts to build on his magical knowledge. Karla, her mother who often accompanied her father when he performed his magical activities tried her best to make sure that he wouldn't delve too far into anything foolish. It had kept him safe many times before, though she could hardly be there at every hour of the day. Reimancy was her father's most recent field of study at the time. He was studying this art, and funneling most of the family's extra money into the construction of some kind of weapon. Karla told him to stop, but he insisted that this was the best lead he'd ever had and continued up to the point where the small fraction of the Arvina was burned to the ground in his experiments. Naturally, this included both their own room as well as Levali's. Levali never learned how this linked to her father betraying Morwen, though her mother had presented her a while after with a list of costs and materials that he was supposed to be using in order to do whatever he was trying to accomplish. None of it made sense to her, but she never found it in herself to try and pursue it fully.
