Welcome to Syka!
This city will be open to settlement fairly soon. However, its gateway is going to be from the sea and the city of Riverfall. Syka's opening will be tied to a quest that will be underway shortly involving a single person so the rate of that post will determine the rate of population in this city. Syka will be primative at first with relatively very little support. It will just have a simple general store and a small line of bungalows one can rent for housing. If someone wants to settle here, they will need to build their own home (and rp doing so with timeframes included) and bring something into the mix.
The city will be looking for healers, farmers, animal caretakers, fisherman, cooks, bartenders, etc. There will literally be no businesses open at first besides the general store. All food must be harvested from the sea, foraged from the jungle, or imported. The same goes for common goods like cloth, metal, and medicines. Be aware there will be dangers in paradise. Syka is on the Suvan Sea so it does have miles of beaches, some sand and some stone.
A codex will be forthcoming, but feel free to ask any and all questions here if you have any. Also, if your interested in being part of Syka, feel free to drop a note in this thread.
