Summer 19th 516 A.v
The day had been in its adolescence, and on this fine morning Skyard found himself exploring the "entirety of the island" or so he thought. Syka was a place just as beautiful as it was dangerous, and Skyard picked up on that fact rather swiftly. Skyard had to adapt, and become stronger in order to survive; he knew that he would not be interested in majority of the people he met here. Kaie was the only person that mattered to him, and he would do anything if it meant that he would return to her safely. Perhaps the next time that he got to see her he would return stronger than he had ever been before. He stood upright with his fists clenched tightly, and he walked along the shore a short distance away from the water. Skyard began to wonder whether or not this was some strange form of punishment. Had he been forsaken? Perhaps if he had been stronger he could have defeated the strange individuals who took him captive and brought him here against his will.
Skyard suddenly began to run at a brisk pace, and he spotted a rather large rock which erected itself from the ground diagonally. He stopped and knelt down for a moment; only to notice that the coloration of the golden-brown sand became darkened here. Perhaps it was because of the fact that the large rock cast a massive shadow which extended for what appeared to have been several feet. The sand which surrounded the rock had been the same color as the rock itself. He began to theorize, and thought to himself aloud. “Perhaps there is a process.. A natural one that destroys rocks, and maybe other things as well.. I've never seen a rock this smooth.. This rock.. It's been here for a long time... I believe that maybe the sand over time made it this way..” He concluded his thought and backed away from the rock just as swiftly as he visited it.
This newfound area always seemed to be incredibly hot, and the air was thick; although the island was gorgeous in appearance. He decided that he would go beyond the shore, and walk into the thick vegetation of the jungle. Skyard quickly stumbled upon several plants that he had been unfamiliar with, and then he discovered a Tree. One so massive that it certainly did stand out among its peers; the top appeared to have been so far away from the ground where he stood that he questioned its origin. Skyard decided that he could use it to train with. The Kelvic closed his eyes tightly, and inhaled slowly followed by an exhalation. He channeled djed throughout his body which started at his heels; the Lion planted his feet shoulder width apart. He made an observation about the flux whilst he attempted to control where the djed moved, and how much of it he used all at the same time.
Skyard continued to theory-craft, and decided that he would attempt to manipulate the djed with a bit more precision. He focused so intensely that he could hear the throbbing of his heart, and attempted to visualize his body. Skyard brought his palms together as if he were praying; however he visualized his Djed starting in the center of his chest. Where the steady throb came from; he could feel his heart beat, and attempted to control the djed as it attempted to run wild. His breathing became heavy, and rather than enhance the typical parts of his body such as his limbs he would try something more dangerous today.
Skyard knew the dangers of his discipline, and decided that rather than use a large amount of djed all at the same time in his heart that he would attempt to distribute the rest evenly. Skyard suddenly felt his heart pound so hard that he felt as if he were going to fall over at any moment. He continued to visualize his body; in his mind he saw a shadowed figure with multiple red lines running across it to represent the blood in his body.
