Article: [Location] Ruins of Erazya Author(s): Ascen Other development: --- Additional Info: --- Peer Review Thread: Founder Review Thread: Synopsis: Many gods and goddesses no matter the rank always had or still possess a temple dedicated to the gods. As a testament of Mizahar’s faith to that one particular god/ess holds. Temples, shrines, and even sacred locations are the god’s one of many methods of faith that is given birth to religion. Even Ivak surely had at least a few locations of faith dedicated to him. Although most seemed to have been abandoned after the Valterrian; leaving these sacred places to reduce into rubble and potential lairs for monsters. The Ruins of Erazya was once a lovely temple located in the northern part of the Wildlands. Memorials were once grand and beautiful that seemed to have covered the entire interior wall. Ones that tells stories of Ivak’s purpose to the world and even reflects of drastic changes that forged this world to be born. Now those walls have been cracked, eroded, and even scratched off by wild beasts to where the memorials are no longer present. Even the floors, that was once polished white marble and was painted into an image of mountains with a volcano erupting with magma covering half of the volcano; has been destroyed over of the centuries of abandonment to nature herself. Artifacts has been rumored to be found in these ruins, but due to the centuries of allowing the vegetation to cover up the roads and even the temple itself. It is quite hard to find the ruins for the roads as mentioned before are no longer visible and is seen as just part of the wilderness in Sylira. While it perhaps is mentioned in some ancient history books, even scholars would have a hard time to pinpoint the exact location without having to brave the trials for the discovery. The only ones who would have a much easier time finding Erazya is Ivak himself and perhaps a very few number of adventurers who didn’t get too far in the ruins. The reason is simply because the entrance to Erazya is guarded by a powerful barrier with a glyph to ward off intruders save for Ivak and the Azenth. However this barrier doesn’t appear to be up at all times. Occasionally the Djed in the barrier would disappear as the barrier is powered by the Glyph placed on the entrance. It would take someone to pour their Djed into the glyph in order to reactivate the barrier, but the only question is who has been doing so? A scholar back at Zeltiva once conducted a theory that it’s possible the Azenth use Erazya as shelter over the course of the years. However no one has been able to confirm that theory and it was overlooked by many.
