Name: Conrad Race: human age:18 birthday fall 33th 492 AV appearance: Conrad is of average height standing about 5,8 feet tall and is wearing a white cotton shirt, brown leather pants with some sturdy leather boots most of the time. Though the long sleeves of the shirt are always rolled back, preventing him from ripping the material when he morphs his arms into claws or something else when he needs to fight. He got fairly long hair that he has bound together in a loose ponytail, a goaty on his chin and brown eyes, though the most striking feature is a scar across his face, gained when he messed around with a sick animal that was still in recovery by his father. He was lucky to get away with only a scratch on his face. History: His father escaped from a zith slaving run through a mixture of what could only be called extreme luck and grace of the gods. by stumbling across a patrol of akalak while they where on the run from the zith. Since then he and his kid lived in the city of riverfall, He not daring to leave the city in fear of zith slavers. making his living as a doctor to both animals and and keeping a big amounts off birds as company and as a memento to his wife a bird kelvic, Though as the little boy grew up to be an adventurous and curious boy, his father had his hands full with trying to keep him away from the sea of grass outside the city, fearing the patrols of slavers would catch him. This fear and slight paranoia of his father lead to that Conrad was a bit...isolated from normal society, though that was not what his father intended. Luckily most of his loneliness was taken care of by the fact that he loved animals just as much as his father did and that on his fourth birthday his father gifted him with a young gray parrot as a present and a friend. Of course little Conrad got some help with raising it a such a young age form his father. The days where mostly filled with helping his father while he tended to his patients and caring for the birds. teaching the parrot how to talk and playing with it he did in his free time, which he had a reasonable amount. The result was that the parrot had quite the vocabulary, this would be a good thing for everyone, though unfortunately the parrot has the uncanny ability to spout words or sentences that make conversation rather...awkward. Though that all did change as Conrad hit the age of 14. At that age he met a rather interesting figure in his life. One day a wounded man was brought to his fathers attention. While he could patch stabilize the gravely wounded man, further care was needed to get him back on his feet. While the man was under his fathers care, Conrad pestered him with so many questions about life away from the walls and how he got wounded that a normal human would have cried for mercy and ran away as fast as he could, wounds be damned! Still, the man just laughed at the boy's questions and told him what he wanted to know. To the annoyance of his father, as the questions just fanned the spark of wanderlust that silently smoldered deep inside the boy's soul, slowly letting it gain strength till it was burning bright The real turnabout came when the mage was able to stand on his own and he would be able to leave he took the boy outside and promised he would teach him some skills that would help him to survive if he ever went on his own journey. He just had to come to the inn a few times in a week for some lessons. Those lessons went on for almost 4 years, and the young conrad learned both morphing and malediction under the watchfull eye of the experienced mage. Unfortunately everything must come to an end, the same counts for his apprenticeship under him. On the last day that he had a lesson the mage showed up and told him that he wasn't going to teach him any more things about magic while he was cooped up here like a caged bird and told him to go out and learn of the world before he would teach him anything else. Taking this as his chance to journey out to the world conrad ran towards home and began preparing himself for his journey. alignment:true neutral, Conrads goal is to learn about the world and he could care less about morals and rules that forbid something, though he would probably follow them to not get in to much trouble. Religion: Aquilas, Conrad has great respect for the former god of travel, though he knows that aquilas is now barely alive he still holds on to him as his favored god, convinced of the fact that the few people who still do are one of the reasons that the god is still alive.
