In Lhavit, a business that trades in information has recently appeared on scholarly Tenten Peak. It is known as the Rabbit Hole. It is situated in a small house with curved walls and a domed roof that stands against a rocky wall in the background. Pale yellow brick frames a navy blue door that melts into a round window directly above. Parts of the latter have been fashioned of skyglass, depicting leaves and dusty red flowers. The roof is constructed of stone arches interspersed with ordinary glass as well as skyglass accents, its beauty simpler and more modest than in most Lhavitian structures. Upon ascending the steps and entering the building, one is met with a sparsely, yet tastefully furnished office. The huge desk is usually covered in paper, ink vials and quills while the comfy armchair in the corner is rarely offered to clients. A massive bookcase stands against the one wall, holding a few tomes as well as what seems to be a collection of useless junk: two river stones, a smudged silver bowl, a mask painted blue and silver with swirly ornaments, candles, a dozen bottles filled with different liquids, a pot of catnip on a lower shelf. Sometimes a grayish brown squash cat can be seen lounging in a ray of sunlight or stalking around grumpily. Looking up, the visitor would notice ornaments decorating every window in the roof as well as a handful of mysterious signs painted high on the wall. They do not appear ready to share their secret yet. The door behind the desk remains closed to all clients. A sign reading ‘No trespassing’ in large block letters is stuck to it. The tiny space beyond is crammed with a small hearth, pots hanging from nails, bags of tea leaves, a broom and other supplies. A battered couch stands next to a low shelf where notebooks (and even edibles) are kept. The tiny round window looks out towards the mountain behind the pavilion.
