Greetings Folks!

Its finally Season Change. Winter has come to Mizahar and all of your threads for Fall need to be wrapped up. You have tonight until Midnight to post placeholders and finish up any unfinished business in the city. The next week for me will be concentrating on wrapping up moderated threads.

Tomorrow I will unveil, towards the evening, what Syka's calendar looks like for the season. I'm hoping it will spark some interest for you in terms of plotlines for your own pc.

Any questions, concerns, etc.... please post here. There is also a new character registry to post to if you are playing in the city this season. I plan to be very active since my busy season at work is officially over. I'm sad it was a bit too late for me to finish NaNo, but that's the life of someone who has to put work before their fantasy life.

If anyone wants anything added to the calendar or addressed this season, please let me know. I plan to begin to reveal some of Syka's deepest secrets this season.

Hey guys, just wanted to give a heads up. I won't be posting this season, though I wish I would be, due to moving later this month. I will be trying to get my job threads from the previous season finished so you might see me on for that. Other than that though I can't dedicate too much time to the site. I WILL be back though I can promise that! Once I get my shiny new laptop and some wifi I'll be super happy to log back in to my catharsis. I don't move for another month though so I'll be around for that much longer, but as I said before I don't expect to have purchased a laptop and have wifi until spring. Don't miss me too much, and stop crying!

Is mercenary a liable job for Syka? If not I'd be willing to change my current occupation from mercenary to wilderness survival guide. Also I was curious about one more thing, could I self-moderate Mathias for my thread?

I've posted a Syka Calendar for Winter of 516 AV. If anyone wants to add anything to it let me know. I don't know if you guys are holding your own events this season or not. Sometimes PCs do.

Xen, I'll be responding to your PM shortly. I've been putting in horrible hours at work and that makes me not have time to post. I had roughly 14 hrs off today for the whole weekend so I'm not doing much plotting, planning, or posting until tomorrow which should be the start a whole better week. The only problem is tomorrow's work starts at one am tonight so I have to be in bed and up by midnight here shortly.

All the NPCs in Syka are available for self moderation or group moderation. You can just pick the one that best suits your needs.

I'm in no rush, Goss. I posted here because I figured you were really busy (And you were, sorry about pestering you!). I thought my fellow PC's would answer my question before you did. But it looks like I couldn't cut you some slack in the end . I'm loving the calendar too, hopefully, that Velispar can understand snake-tongue while full on fresh whale. It does help!

Towards the end of the season, Karin is going to have to be hauling a fair amount of timber to her fledgling shipwrights. The Syka Sawmill seems somewhat dead in the water currently, but I would love to help someone set it up from wherever it is right now, come Spring. (Presumably in the planning stage IC?) Either way, this is a little question posed to you all: is there anyone who wouldn't mind helping Karin out cutting down a tree and transporting it back to Syka proper? In return, she could give you a portion of free rent for one of the boats she's going to make. This would be somewhere near the very end of Winter, 85th onwards really. I ask now so that the idea can linger.

Happy roleplay! If anyone wants a thread, please do just ask. I've tied poor Karin with a lot of solos (to get her to where she needs to be), but maybe a couple could be with someone else.
