Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

She had expected the sarcastic reply to what she had said, knowing it was a bad idea. However, she had no ideas for anywhere else to. She gave a slightly apologetic look at his annoyance. "That was a stupid idea, wasn't it."
Arisia hadn't truly travelled around the place, it kind of scared her, the immense amount of illusions. So she had not travelled around the whole of the city yet.
It was a shame that this city didn't have an area to train like Syrilas had, at least she didn't think there was one.
Her thoughts ended up drifting to why she wanted a weapon. She told herself that she wanted it to protect herself, because the world was dangerous. That was only half true, really. She wanted to protect the Vantha, she felt like she was dissapointing her mother if she didn't.
She had considered going home to find and protect her mother for winter, but she knew that wasn't going to happens. Her mother was likely already dead. Arisia wasn't that naive, if she had gone back to Syrilas after coming here, there would have been no point of travelling at all.
Contemplating to herself for a moment, and her mind coming back to what she was meant to be thinking of. Where to practice. "Uh, I actually have no idea where to." She laughed slightly, wishing she knew the city better. |

They walked for a short amount of time, she had expected it to take a longer time for them to find somewhere empty to train. It appeared the city had other plans though.
The clearing appeared to look like a jungle, an odd thing to find in the middle of a city, however this was the city of illusions. She felt surprised for a moment, but shrugged it off. They had somewhere to do this now.
She knew how to stand when fighting, and she knew how to defend herself. Hopefully that'll turn into me being alright at this.. It was extremely likely that she wouldn't be good at this, at least not yet. Despite all this, Arisia was optimistic as usual, and enthusiastic about learning to use her weapon.
Alex abruptly turned, staring towards her with a smirk, telling her to have a go. She really hoped neither of them got hurt, more likely she would hurt herself though.
Drawing her sword, and taking a stance that she knew would support her, one foot a bit behind her, and one forward. She held the weapon the way Alex had told her to earlier, if a little bit incorrectly.
She swung at him, her aim wasn't amazing, and would likely easily be avoided, but her stance remained fine as she stepped forwards. The ground was noticeably unstable as she moved, and she adjusted her steps, an attempt to make them lighter. |

Arisia stumbled, dodging the hit yet not unaffected by it, taking a second to regain her balance on the unstable ground. Her stance had become less correct now that she had straightened herself up, and she was more focused on making sure she didn't fall to the ground again and following the advice she was given.
She slashed again, aiming to knock him off of his feet like he had tried before. An unsuccessful maneuver, her arms movement clumsy and unpracticed, and her step forward too heavy.
Slipping as she used her weapon, she fell forwards on to the unstable ground below her. It was expected, but still slightly disappointing as she collided with the ground. It was lucky that she was just on mud, instead of rocks. If she had been her injuries would likely be much worse.
Quickly, she got herself up into a standing position, ready to try again. She knew she couldn't get better if she didn't even try, and one fall wasn't enough to put her off of learning how to use the weapon.
A want to protect people was driving her, whether the Vantha, herself, or her future bondmate. It was something she felt that she needed to do, whether she would be able to do it well or not, that was something she would have to figure out in a while.
She wished she had claws as a human though, it'd make things incredibly easier than this. |

Well,I wouldn't of got this far without fire. She smiled at this, and listened to what he said. He was going to use a weapon on her now, an armed opponent wasn't something she had faced before. So she would see how this went.
He took out two swords, she recognised them as she saw some similar in the store, but she didn't remember what it was. After being showed the amount of space between them, she realised that she would have to close the gap between them to do anything. Luckily he seemed to have the same thoughts and explained it.
She had never been the most perceptive or bright individual, her intelligence ending at that of a child's often. She wasn't good at realising what was happening at times, and her oblivious personality had often led her into bad situations. Her lack of education was likely to blame for her stupidity, but she couldn't change that now.
It was a good thing this was only training, or else she would have ended up a lot more injured. She went to block the feint, taking the hit, causing her to stumble to the side and knocking the breath out of her.
She clutched her side for a moment, it was slightly painful, but nothing major, then straightened herself up with a grin. "The other was a fake then?" |
