As is common to Sahova, the entire lab was carved from the stone of the island, cut and carved out using subtractive building and not built up or upon- leaving it as one smooth seamless feature of floor and walls and ceiling but for the few doors. Upon first entering the visitor finds themselves in a simple common area. This area is generally kept free of anything important or magical, except for the occasional booby trap to deter unwanted guests or thieves. A few stone benches along the walls( a pair of benches along each far wall of the room with each able to hold 2 people, max seating room for 8 ) joined to the floor and a rough undyed grey carpet in the middle of the floor are the only ornamentation. A door at the front is the only entrance into the common area, and a door with a lock at the back wall leads into the lab proper. Through this door is the main room and focus of activity, the labspace. A lab specialized for Magecrafting, the center piece of the room is a single large stone pedestal jutting up from the stone of the ground as the sole break to its perfect flat and smooth face. Like the other stone elements in the lab it is part of the floor, the room subtracted out leaving the pedestal in place from the original stone. Spaced along the walls are a series of blackboards, often covered in chalk drawings of some idea or other or some half finished plan. Along the right wall are a series of basins and tubs of various sizes ranged from small to large, front to back. The smallest near the front of the room in the front right corner is small enough to barely wet ones fingers, while the largest near the back right corner of the room could easily fit a full grown man with room to spare. A third of the way down the left wall is a door leading into a small study with a desk, some shelves, a chair, and a small closet for storing writing materials. A pair of doors along the back wall lead into a pair of linked bedrooms, with a shared bathroom in the middle. Both rooms are filled mostly with rough furnishings, a small bedside table, a rough bench, a chest of drawers and a simple mirror. The only redeeming piece of furniture of any quality within is the bed which oddly enough has a nice mattress made of cotton batting, covered in cotton sheets, a blanket, and a pillow. In the back right corner of the lab is a small bookcase, filled almost entirely with various books and journals on topics related to or on Magecrafting, and a few on other related topics. In the front left corner is a small writing desk with a simple chair, a good place to read or write while seated without needing to bend or stoop. Along the back of the left wall, between the door to the study and the bookcase, is a long metal lab table with a few tall metal stools before it. It is usually filled with various tools of the trade, tongs or hammers ready to for charging, or occasionally an item or ingredient to be involved in some way, or other odd esoteric tools used in the magic of Magecrafting. Beneath the table is a pair of padded wooden chests, for use in storing various items or tools when not being used. Breakdown :
