Winter 20
The cold and snow were starting to pile up more than usual. Usually, the snow wasn't this deep until later in the season, life would be difficult for anyone if the weather keeps getting colder.
Though Garland was sure the cold will be gone by tomorrow, at least for a day. Then again, he had always been wrong about the weather, no matter what it is. If he thinks one day would be sunny, suddenly a downpour that would flood Syliras if it wasn't for the sewer system would fall. He was that unlucky about predicting the weather.
With the snow so deep, Garland and a few other squires needed to shovel away the snow on the training grounds. The other squires hated the manual labor of shoveling snow away, but Garland loved it, it was good to do some hard work to keep warm, and he thought that this would be a good workout for his upper body strength.
Though as soon as this was finish, he would be the first on the actual training part of the Training Grounds. Though, he was without his Patron for a while now, she had been busy with the extra added security and the fact that the knights were lacking in numbers since Fall. He had been training on his own since the start of Winter. He didn't blame her, but training alone could get boring and lonely.
He was hoping that maybe someone would spar with him, anyone except Ball and Arch. Those two are the smallest squires yet they're the most deadly out of all of them. Then again he had heard Arch had traveled when he was younger, though he doesn't know the extent of Arch travels.
After a while the area seemed clear of snow, except for the archery range, which the knights that were training there said that they needed the snow to ge the squires to be use to fighting on snow. He raised up his arm and called out to the other squires that helped with the clean up. "Anybody wanna spar?"
