Avrial could almost taste the success as her sword stayed on target on a collision course with his armored hand. But her emerald green eyes widened in disbelief as garland disowned his blade by discarding it. The weighted tip of her kilij forced Avrial to have to follow through with her strike as by then it was to late to pull back. As her sword sang as it sliced air whirring past Garlands hand, his shield came rolling in at an awkward angle.
Typically it would have been lacking, however Garlands brute strength was beyond her own and even if it was backed behind a disengenuous shield bash there was more then enough raw power behind it to put some umph in its contact, despite the angle that cannabalized it's true potential.
As the shield boomed into her with a thunderous roar, she used her arm and shoulder to brace for impact as her feet were spaced enough apart to not be swept off the ground. She felt the dizzying spin of disorientation as she staggered backwards reeling out four or five feat back to catch and regain lost bearings.
There was distance as Garlands form began crouching, her blurred and obscured vision of his form in triplicate molded back into a singular being.
Avrial, attempted an underhanded move as she kicked the dirt floor of the pit to plume a cloud of dirt, dust and sand in Garlands face as he went for or had already grasped his sword. She was hoping it would temporarily blind his vision or cause him to cough and choke to compromise his fighting composure and conceal her advance.
When she was back in position she would swing both swords in a synchronized attack on Garlands sword hand side. This time it was an offensive technique one sword would chop down below his swords cross guard to once again target his hand while the other Kilij was aimed at his bastard swords blade. She was attempting to go high and low in one shot with both swords as she continued trying to flank his sword arm.
Avrial was there but not one hundred percent she was starting to feel the burden of plate armor after covering that short distance. She would need to be more careful as operating with wreckless abandon was going to wittle her to nothing more than a husk in a shell.
