Apologies, Michael! The season slipped by, and I didn't put down any placeholders. :/ My bad.

I'm going to be slow for the beginning of Spring. Although I'm raring to go with plots, I've realised I have a few (read:lots of) job threads to do, so those are going to be my focus.

Hi Folks.

I know I haven't been around much, but I should be from here on out. You can see my scrap for more details. Anyhow, I wanted to make you aware of some changes. I've added to the overall count of the bungalows, doubling their number since Randal has had more than enough time to build more. I've also added some more areas into the mix.

We now have another housing option.

Overwater Ranchos - They are slightly more expensive than the bungalows but they offer on the water housing with private docks and fishing out the back door.

I've made rent more in line with the actual renting of an apartment in Miz. And you now have an option to buy one outright. The rent is 100 gm for a season for the Bungalows, 150 gm a season for the Ranchos, and to buy them outright its 850 gm and 1000 gm respectively. These are considered really good and excellent housing with full furnishings.

The Panacea - There's a new healer in town. An Akalak from RF has moved in and opened up shop. Feel free to go to him (them?) for treatment or training. He's probably even hiring.

Tidepool Bar - Hard and soft drinks, food, live music, entertainment, games... this place has it all. And its built over the water too. Check out the local drinks. You might have a good laugh.

Let me know if anyone wants me to moderate one of the city events as a group quest thing. I can do that as well.

In an added push to get a few more areas done, I also went ahead and added The Swine Swells for a source of pork for the settlement and The Jungle Tar Pits for a source of tar. I hope you enjoy. The Codex Linkmap is completely up to date.

Hey, I had a quick question before I jumped straight into signing up - can you camp in Syka? Or do you have to stay in one of those bungalows?

Camping is just fine. You'll probably get eaten if you camp in the jungle though. Camp on the coast in the settlement itself - no one will mind - and you'll be safe enough so long as a few of the in-settlement events like the monkeys don't bother you.

I liked Bay's submission/suggestion for a new NPC. I think I'll incoprorate him into the city in a thread I'm going to start today or tomorrow.
