@Shainn, your KRI thread is on the 12th. The Auction is on the 9th, and Shainn has been at the institute longer than 3 days id imagine. We'll find you a good home mate, someone will adopt you I'm sure. Or will sic Sarah McLachlan on them.

Lol, unless Shainn was brought to the auction (by KRI) but didn't get sold.

Maybe the were going to sell hm but he pleaded to stay. It might be too much of a stretch but I find that ooc obstacles stretch your ic creativity.

Or, he was doing so well that he was brought over (along with an employee of the KRI) to help pick out and get first dibs on any kelvic. The KRI is, after all, on the Lakeshore and that's where the thread starts.
