Q's Mostly about flashbacks

I have a few questions about flashbacks.

1. I have done some reading and it seems flashbacks need to occur in the area they happened, correct?
2. If the above is true then how do we do a flashback to an area that is closed?
3. My Konti character spent her life on the Suvan Sea before moving to Syka. When doing flashbacks in the Suvan Sea, are the two storytellers listed for the Suvan actually active? I thought about pm'ing them but was unsure if it was rude to randomly message people. They aren't listed on the main city list so I was unsure if the threads they had in the Suvan were simply old.

2. You can't. If it is closed you cannot RP in them, no ST no active RPs
3. Which to mods are listed in the Suvan? If they are gray the answer is no they are not active

Do you happen to know how I can do flshbacks then? Since it is totally unfeasible that someone who grew up Svefra never learned to fish. I had planned on that skill being built in flashbacks.

Wilderness areas like the Suvan Sea rarely have their own STs, they're more shared between the cities they link, so that people can rp travel.

In your case, Syka's grade request thread specifically includes the Suvan Sea as one of the locations that threads posted there for grading can be set. Does that make sense?
