Hi Folks!
November is upon us. I wanted to make this post in case any of you were up for the NaNo Challenge. Traditionally worldwide and especially in the States, November has been considered the National Novel Writing Month. The idea is that you write 50K words in 30 days.. aka the length of a novel. It's not about accuracy, but its about getting words on paper. We here on Miz do it every year. I know I do it almost every year (maybe every year since its started?)... and this year is no exception.
Tarot has in the past posted word counts for everyone to keep it fair. This year I have no idea if hes going to have time to do that every few days or weekly or if hes bowing out because we haven't been in communication. So if he gets a chance to do it, we'll be super happy.
If not, everyone needs to keep track of their word counts at the end of their posts. Remember, try not to include your box code garbage... we want actual written words. You need to do a little over 1500 words a day to finish in 30. It can be done and in the past we've had people finish with 150K words... so don't be skeptical. This is a great time to boost your PCs skills, flush out their history, or get those placeholders filled back in.
At the end you'll get bragging rights and a huge sense of accomplishment if you get your 50K words done.
Any questions? Feel free to post here or just let us know in this thread who's up for the challenge. I know I will definitely be doing NaNo on at least one PC if not both my active ones.
