Yazata. It so appeared that the two men, who were his temporary guides and guards, are to head back to the house of Gile’s family. Konrad, not Venger. He updated the name in his mind, and added that of the round one as well. Three Eyes. Ah, yes, he can see now where this name came from. Konrad had affirmed his earlier explanation with some more additions of his own, coupled with a smile or what Yazata assumed was supposed to be one. It never ceased to amuse him when Konrad’s face shifted, inwardly it made him wonder where the man got such injuries and -an even less pleasant thought- how much they must have hurt when they were inflicted. But still, a smile was a smile. He liked those, and the gleaming tooth was particularly nice. Dinner and drinks, it sounds like their night will yet be a longer one. Although, he did not know if he is to be included in the invitation, but it was his duty to tend to Gile’s needs, so by the man’s side he will remain until dismissed. As soon as they arrive, he would reluctantly let go and go to help with whatever preparations that needs to be taken care of. But until then, he was still not seeing the need to untangle himself from his master, the tight hug loosened into a tender hold, that kept him still connected to the larger form slightly. After all, if he was not told to stop, why should he? The question that was directed at Three Eyes was one he wished to hear the answer to himself, although the boy still kept himself as far away from the man as possible. His earlier, rather unintended offense lingered in the form of shameful guilt that he did not know what to do about. For as long as the trek would last, Yazata would be -uncharacteristically- quiet; opting to listen to the three men conversing together. He had Gile to lead him now and Konrad, well, he found his company rather amusing. Perhaps, at a later time, he can still get the man to continue the intriguing tale of man-eating monsters. But for now, they had a trip to make through the stretching fields and dimly-lit night. Part Two - Of Bread And Salt
