Basic Information Race: Drykas Birthday And Age: Summer 62 - 504 AV (13 Years Old) Gender: Male Clan: Ruby Physical Description Hayden is about 5 feet tall and weighs 123 pounds. He has white skin and dark green eyes. He has short, wavy, brown hair that is long at the top, but shaved cleanly at the sides, giving it a simple and boyish appearance. Because of his medium height and large amount of muscle, Hayden appears bulky and strong. The most notable thing about his appearance is that he does not have long hair. For drykas this is rather unusual, but Hayden keeps it short because he does not want it getting in his way. Normally, Hayden wears a long sleeved green shirt with a hood and leather pants. However, in hotter weather Hayden will wear nothing more than leather shorts. When Hayden is shirtless, one can see his windmarks on his right arm and bulky chest. Character Concept Hayden has a friendly personality. He is not one to be shy or nervous when talking to other people. However, Hayden does enjoy spending time alone, even though he also enjoys being in the spotlight of attention. He also spends much of his time with his strider, Ash. The two share the close bond between drykas and strider, and are inseparable. Hayden is quite bold, in fact, he is a bit too bold. His lack of fear when it is needed has lead many to call him stupid and reckless. Overall, Hayden has a warm personality that can be a bit too fiery at times. History Hayden grew up with his mother, Renn in the Youngblood pavilion. He had a relatively simple life, learning the basic ways of the pavilion. However, in 511 AV, disaster struck. Renn's husband passed away. She was a widow for a year, until in 512 AV when she remarried into the Proudspear pavilion. All this also took a toll on Hayden. He grew an aggressive personality, but was still a loyal member to his new pavilion. In the fall of 512 AV, Hayden was bonded with his stider, Ash, and also received his wind marks. His new father taught him of the many dangers in the Sea Of Grass. He was finally coming to peace with himself once more. However, another mishap occurred. During the Djed Storm that happened that year, Renn's new husband, Barec, was killed. To cope with all his anger, Hayden began to focus less on his horse and leather skills, and more on his athletic skills. Bodybuilding and boxing helped him relax and stay healthy. However, other times it lead to conflict within him as he felt that his athletic skills were not appreciated as much as his basic skills in leatherworking. Hayden has since then been a quiet member of the pavilion, trying to help his mother keep it together and not succumb to depression.
