Appearance: Aladon Blackforge Sultros toned athletic frame stands at a height of 5'0” and weighs around 200lbs. He has silver veins running underneath his pale skin. He has short dark brown with intense blue eyes. Aladon is left handed, so his left a arm a gift given to him by Izurdin himself is a dark red color while his well muscled right arm is pale with silver veins running through it. Aladon body builds not become a hulking mass of muscle like some of his Isur peers. He wants to perfect the body that Isurdin gave him and work smaller more athletic body form. He works with some weight lifting, but he focus more on running and martial training helped him to tone his body. Working in the mines and the black-smithy of Riverfall and Sultros, Aladon muscles bulk up to the current muscle tone it is today.
Normally, Aladon wheres black boots, black cotton pants and long black jacket with a grey or no shirt underneath at night or in a cities like Sultros or Riverfall, but in Syka where it hot and humid most of the year, the young Isur tends to just where a pair of long flowing linen white pants with a white linen vest, sandals, and a broad brim hat in the settlement. However if he heads out into the jungle to look for raw materials for his trade, he tends to dresses himself in simple leather armor, Isurian made retractable metal shield (Heirloom), bastard sword, backpack, and a pick ax.
Character ConceptBeing in the shadow of his other two sisters, Aladon always felt like he needed to go above and beyond to prove himself to his father, his father's wife, and clan that he was worthy to carry the name Blackforge and bear the honor of being a part of the Sultros Clan since he was conceived by through affair with a woman from the Terras Clan. The youngest and only son and bastard of Coludon Blackforge Soltros and Idreil Whitestone Terras. Aladon went into the trades to pursue perfection since he was told in secret by his father's wife Alderi Blackforge Soltros that he tarnished from birth by his father's dishonorable act of conceiving him with another women. Essentially, home life in Sultros was terrible for young Aladon since he was shunned by his father's wife, and he barely saw his birth mother who treated him like a apprentice and distance herself from his father's family. When he did see his birth mother, she tended to treat him like a friend and mentor and less of mother. It was sad, but eventually he grew numb to the emotional pain and moved on with his life.
Aladon strongest bond was with his father. Caludon knew of his wife dislike for his bastard son, so he did his best to act as a buffer between to the two. Caludon doted on all his children, but he made a special exception with Aladon since he felt guilty for putting him such a sticky situation. Aladon adored his father, and he taught him how to think and act like a member of the Sultros Clan. Caludon Blackforge was a Metal Smith by trade, but he enjoyed studying the field of geology and volunteered in the mines. His fondest memories with his father was his one on one trips into the mines and to the surface where he taught his son geology and mining techniques. It was grunt work for the young Isur, but it taught the boy humility and pride in even the simplest jobs. He was his father assistant as he lead the other children through the mines to learn geology. He even had to lead small groups of two other kids when he separated from his father. Caludan played both father and mother to his son, so he wouldn't feel so isolated with the rest of his family.
Even if Aladon had a hard time loving his father's wife and mother Alderi Blackforge, he still respected the former warrior of the Coligas Clan. She wanted all her children, even Aladon, to learn the ways of the sword and basic self defense because in her words, '
We are Blackforge, and we will stand steadfast against the storm.' In Aladon younger days, he just thought his “mother's” words were just military jargon, but when he got older those words kept him alive when events around him got dire. She was a perfectionist in martial arts like Idreil was to her craft, so she was often brutal and unrelenting in her teaching method. However, the martial training distracted him from his profession enough calm his mind, and it gave the young man a since of pride in his family, clan, kingdom, and Izurdin.
Aladon loved his birth mother even if she wasn't the greatest mother in the world. Idreil Whitestone Terras was a eccentric perfectionist when it comes to weapon tinsmith. Also she carved her own molds, so she taught him the simple art of carving. She believed if a weapon wasn't perfect. It should be thrown in the scrap heap and melted down to make something worthy of Izurdin. It was frustrating for Aladon to apprentice under her because she was just as critical of his work than she was of her own work. It was stressful for him, but in the end, he learned not to be satisfied with less quality work. Idriel wasn't the motherly figure that he always dreamed of having. She was dedicated to her work, and she treated her son like clump of steal needed to be molded into a masterpiece. For the longest time, he never understood what his father saw in her other than her beauty. However, the longer he spent time with her, he noticed that she was focused women with mischievous side to her. She was very sociable and charming in her own weird way. She was quick to laugh or come up with witty jokes to lighten the mood in the room. In time, he realized that Idriel didn't have time to raise him because of her dedication to her art, so she did the next best thing teach him how to be a smith and a man.
These are the three people in his life who helped forge him into the person that he is today. Aladon wants to make a impact in the world, but he his only tools is a smithing hammer, a pick, and an advil. The are simple tools, but his father told him that even the grandest crafted piece was just composed out of simple parts and put together by simple tools. It was the will of their creator through blood, sweat, and tears makes masterpieces. Aladon lives by this world view along with the teaching of his beloved god Izurdin. The young Isur isn't a warrior. He doesn't go out looking to take a life for the sake trivial things like glory, fame, or wealth; however, he will defend his lively hood, friends, family, and property to the death if need be. However, he doesn't spend all his time staring into a forge, pounding on a anvil, or training with his sword. He does enjoy taking a break and collecting his thoughts and enjoying the masterpiece Mizahar that Izurdin created for him.[/font]
