Here's the write-up for Ixtli's land, please let me know if it's fine.
Ixtli's Camp
Ixtli has claimed five acres of land just south of the Syka's Commons. The land encompasses a sandy strip of the beach, a rocky outcrop facing Solitude Isle and a large part of jungle ground, yet to be explored. So far all she has found is a very small stream of water a few chimes of walk into the rainforest but hasn't ventured much deeper.
However, she knows the jungle is rich with wildlife; the cries of monkeys in the canopy can be heard througout the day, while many birds and insects are to be seen on the trunks and branches of numerous species of trees and shrubs. And though she hasn't tried her hand at fishing yet, the outcrop plunging into the bay is a good place to collect crabs and other shellfish for an easy meal.
Her camp is set a dozen feet away from the shades of the first trees, far enough from the Commons to get some quiet when the meeting place is busy. She lives in a four-person tent she has set with the entrance flap facing westward at the bay, to avoid strong winds coming from the sea. The tent itself is sheltered by a camouflage tarp, and a hammock is hanged nearby under the shades of palm trees on the beach. There is also a firepit dug in the sand a few feet away from the tent that keep crumbling under the breeze and has to be fixed almost daily. She has sworn to herself that she'll build something more durable and in the meantime keeps being frustrated with it.
Inside the tent, a room is saved for sleeping only, where usually she rests over the laid-open blanket and bedroll. Her possessions are sort of scattered in piles around the other rooms, houseware being kept near the entrance while her tools and clothes are stored baskets and chest in another corner.
Ixtli is used to a lifetime of being outdoors, especially in the jungle, so her tent is mostly used for sleeping and storage. Sometimes when she isn't busy with chores or work, she can be found idle in her hammock, but most of the time she is out and about.

I would like to put a request for the 5 acres of land.
Garland's Outpost
East of the Overwatch Ranchos is where Garland had laid claim, a little more inland than the floating homes, but still having the beach accessible close by. Trees dot the area north of the land where he could easily get firewood or some crafting materia;s
Garland had several pieces of wood and rope marking areas where he would like to make a building, but no permanent building has been set up yet.
The area itself is relatively flat, the plot of land had a few stray trees here and there, and Garland would most likely remove them at some point or use them for something, maybe climbing up a tree to work on upper body strength or as a training dummy.
The beach area has pristine scenery, a clear view of the ocean from miles around, although without some sort of tower anyone the vision is less than ideal. Garland had also placed several small stones in a circle on the ground, a temporary sparring area for training.
Garland plans this area to be the outpost he was tasked by the knights to do, but for now, he would offer this area for a place any guards would want to train and spar, Garland would also offer training for free at the moment until the he has proper equipment to train people.

Aladon Blackforge Sultros claimed 5 acre parcel is a stretch of land just south of the commons facing Solitude Island. The Isur choose this parcel because of the point that stuck out into the bay. North of the point is a nice pristine white sandy beach while the south of the point is a lush mangrove forest with a mouth of a creek draining into the Suvan Sea. The Isur hasn't explored into the interior of the parcel much because from what he could tell from small incrustations into the edge of the maw. It was a thick jungle with trees and vines everywhere. He hasn't gotten far into it because he isn't quite comfortable going into the jungle alone yet. South of the jut of land, is a lush mangrove forest with a small creek in the middle of it. He hasn't gone much exploring into the mangrove, but from what he could tell, a person can bring a canoe up stream into the slow moving creek into the mangroves. The water outside the dense mangrove is dotted with mangrove trees into the shallows of the Suvan Sea since the water was quite shallow around the mangrove trees in the Suvan Sea at the month of the creek only about two feet during low tide.
At the moment, Aladon's current temporary is a four person tent that sits between two large palm trees for shade. A make shift fire pit was built in the sand and was surrounded by rocks away from his tent. He keeps his belonging in his tent because he is rather trusting of the other settlers in the settlement, so he hasn't lock anything up. He doesn't have much furniture because he doesn't want to waste the loan on furniture till he his permanent home is built. The Isur set up his hammock between two palms trees, so he can lounge in the shade after a long day at work. In the future, Aladon wants to build large home for himself and a possible family. He has plans to create a garden to grow food, and he going to plant fruit trees unless he finds some growing naturally in the jungle. This estate he is hoping to pass on to his future children, so he plans on dig his own well for a drinking water, so he doesn't have to head to Syka for drinking water. He would use the creek near him, but he doesn't want to risk his life to get water with the snakes and crocodiles living by the creek and the mangrove trees.
Aladon has a feeling that there is more to the Mangrove Creek, but he will need a canoe to explore deeper into the slow moving creek. However, from what he gathered from the beach that it is teeming with life. He noticed colorful birds, crocodiles, fish, snakes, crabs, and other shell fish make their home in the mangrove habitat. Not to mention the strange trees and shrubbery growing on the shores of the creek. The plant life gets stranger father inland from the creek because he can literally see the tree roots sticking out of the ground during low tide. During high tide, the whole tidal swamp is flooded till the waters reside at low tide. He is quite satisfied with his parcel, and he hopes to develop and explore it more in the future. For now, he is quite satisfied with his camp on the beach. |

Merevaika, who never came to Syka to stay but as a place to run away to, never claimed the five acres of land offered, nor is willing to. Instead, she has a small area in the beach within view of - but still as far away as she could make it - Syka.
A small one-man tent has been set up in the back half of the beach, closer towards the jungle. It is generally an organised mess around her camp. Lining the back are a collection of cages, the majority empty and falling apart. Awkwardly piled fuel for the fire rests against the cages, to the point where it is hard to tell them apart. A coil of rope sits there too, hacking into several smaller pieces by now. The opening is faced towards the east, for the rising sun to awaken Merevaika each morning. Two torches, often burning in the evenings, rest on either side of this opening, while a lantern hangs central, just inside the tent.
Five or so steps away from the opening of the tent is a firepit, dug out in the sand and filled with ash and unburnt pieces of wood. Between the tent and the firepit, her possessions can often be found in a scattered mess, especially if she is in the area.
Inside the tent, two wolf pelts form a floor of sorts, slightly smelly from their age and worn at the edges. A stack of clothing forms a pillow and a series of weapons, if not on her person, rest inside too, with a few assorted pieces of equipment.
Behind the tent, halfway on the cusp of jungle and beach, stands a large bamboo structure - a half-dome cage in which a few chickens scratch at the ground and wildly react to anything near them. A skinny black dog with bright red and green eyes can often be found resting in the shade near the coop, watching the chickens both as a guard and as a creature interested in a tasty snack.
The temporary camp has almost become permanent. |
