Character Concept Kassa is a passionate young woman with a solid head on her shoulders. She radiates with determination and willpower, but in her youth, she can sometimes find that she's a bit impulsive when she should sit and think. Regardless, she puts her heart into everything she does.
She's fiercely intelligent, possibly even classified as a genius. As it is with many geniuses, Kassa is a bit eccentric. She can sometimes miss small details or push some information from her mind to make room for new stuff.
When she finds a subject that she's knowledgeable in, she will absolutely not keep her mouth shut. Often, Kassa is the first to speak with someone is being rude. She has a quick temper, but she can calm down just as fast. In her mind, honor and pride is valued quite highly. Not only will she fight to defend her own honor, but she'll also step in if someone is harassing someone smaller than themselves.
Personal space is kind of a foreign concept to her, so she'll often press into someone's space without even realizing it is a problem. Kassa loves being with people, and she'll talk to absolutely anyone.
The young woman's dream is to join the Endal rank with a Wind Eagle of her own, but until that happens, she's quite content living as she does and earning her way to prove her worthiness to the eagles and the community.
Character History Born and raised in Wind Reach, Kassa had a fairly standard childhood for the Inarta culture. Taken from her mother at four years old, she grew up next to her twin brother - and many other children - though the two were extremely different people. He took to the artisan lifestyle wonderfully, advancing in the beautiful glass work that their people were so famous for.
Kassa wanted more. Her dream was to become an Endal.
She worked hard and studied the Endal pairs and the way that they operated, deciding that she would do anything to end up there. The only way she could see that happening was to get as close to the Endals as she could. To do so, she watched the falconers and other hunters.
Any chance she got, she would run off and spend time with the hunters. When she turned seventeen, her time and energy paid off. She became an apprentice hunter and bonded with her mentor, learning quickly.
Her first flight on the back of a wind eagle was the most exhilarating feeling in the whole world. It forced a part of her to awaken, and it was confirmed for her that that was where she truly belonged. |
