It was just like any other morning. Except this morning was different. So different in fact that she was staring at Darvin's little packet of drugs that he crafted himself. Avinasai knew as a maker of poison that she shouldn't obviously test the products being made, but she wanted to have an adventure. It was an entire season ago when Avinasai had left the decaying city of Sunberth to take a swim then watch as her party members took down dead people, corpses. Watching dead bodies me ved was like an old lady, struggling to stand up with a cane after sitting down on her lovely rocking chair for bells on straight. Avinasai felt sick watching the corpses, and it made her sick watching old people struggle.
Honestly, in Avinasai's mind; if you can't get up and walk anywhere then what was the point of living? Especially when living in a city where anything could possibly happen. Avinasai was glad that she wasn't dead yet. She was more than glad. She was so glad, that she could probably take Darvin's drugs right now and head out. However, she took it upon her to take the pack with her, and she grabbed her rapier, given to her by her friend Janeth a few years ago for self defense purposes. Her bag, just in case if she needed it, and her waterskin. She needed to fill up the skin anyways. It was getting low on water and she knew the perfect place to get fresh water, somewhere in the city of Sunberth. Maybe she could take her time and just relax. After all it was morning, and what are the chances of her encountering danger early this morning? About twenty days in, people are sure to be outside of the city. Hunting, or doing whatever they do best outside of Sunberth.
So maybe there would be a lesser chance of bandits running around The Slums? If you didn't know, they were actually quite high. No less than ten bells did a bandit confront Avinasai. Darvin's drugs we're in her pockets, she had her bag, and she had her rapier. She didn't bring any gold with her. So there wasn't much of value, but this boy seemed younger than Avinasai. He looked thinner too; he was tall though, dark shaggy hair, green emerald eyes, raggedy clothes.
He was definitely a Sunberthian street rat looking for some game.
