Winter 20, 510
Kain just got done buying enough food to last him 3 weeks on the road, not that it'd taste any better the longer it waited but at least he wouldnt have to rely on his luck for food. He looked back on zeltiva before going back to making sure everything was fastened to his mountain pony. His tent, his food, sleeping rolls, an extra blanket he bought, his waterskin, everything he'ed need for that journey. Zeltiva was no longer safe for him, if it ever was. But Kain refused to dwell on that thought, no, this trip was entirely so he could find his friend. He hadnt seen him in a while, so he must have left.
That's it, kain thought, i'm going to go visit my friend in Syliras. So, shaking his head he hopped up on his little pony. He never bothered naming it, it wasn't all that special, just another smelly pony. With a shaky seat, he looked back at zeltiva once again. Parting is never easy, no matter what the reasons, and this is no different. he was gonna miss the sea, the sailors, the ruffians. Hopefully they'll have all that in Syliras, though he doubted it. Syliras was supposed to be uptight because of the knights, no, he wont be able to do much pranking but oh well, figureing out what secrets the knights hold will be just as fun as pranking them.
Confident in his magical abilities, trusting that he is competent enough to escape most any situation mostly unscathed he took a deep breath and kicked his pony into action. Syliras, here i come.
