Third of Spring, 518 A.V.
Quzon stood firm as he looked out over a deep chasm. It all seemed so surreal, what had transpired the past few bells was astounding to his Isur nature. He had not been there for most of the initial discovery, but the Cerulean dig team had stumbled upon a moderately sized cavern. It was filled with stalactites and stalagmites, making the area supremly hard to navigate as one needed to zig-zag around pillars of tone to reach the cavern cliff that ended in a sheer drop into darkness. There was nothing out of the ordinary about the environment, other than the fact that several deposits of Emeralds could be seen glittering along the opposite wall of the pit nearly a foot down.
They were difficult to get, but earth Reimancy made it a simple matter of attract and release. "We ready?" The tattooed Myrian said with a slight smirk. His eyes shifting towards a male Dhani dressed in loose flowing yellow robes that stood to his left. It was a sweeping gaze which swiftly moved to his right. On that side stood a bald dark skinned human clad in red pants. Both of them were fellow earth Reimancer who would help him retrieve the deposits. "Only one way to find out?" The Human said with a sly smirk, his tone full of mischief. "Let's get on with it." The Dhani said with a hint of malice in her tone.
Quzon knew that the Dhani came from Zinrah, mainly because of the spite in their words. The Myrian versus Dhani bitterness was something he'd felt often while out on patrol when in the Taloban Military. But, he did not hate those of snake kind. Battle was battle when out in the jungle. But here, they were simply people doing a job. It still did not mean that the Myrian-isur would take any disrespect should the Snakes manners move beyond passive aggression.
The carts behind each of them were manned by a Cerulean waiting to take the gems to the lift, to be replaced by other Cerulean's with carts. Quzon, dressed only in his hunter's hide armor, lifted a hand in preparation to summon his Res. "All together. Keep Res close to stone. Group Res close together, avoids unwanted dangers." He spoke out in a well practiced form of broken common. 'Com-ryian', as he called it. Was where he simply replaced all the words he didn't know in Common with its Myrian counterpart.
The Earth Reimancers all began to summon their res in their own unique ways. The Human emitted a cloud of Res from their forehead, where the Dhani blew their ethereal cloud out from their nostrils. Quzon took the simple route by taking a moment to will his arcane into motion. His Res seeped from his body like a calming mist which formed into a soft green cloud floating above his head. He closed his open palm into a tight fist, using that simple action as a gesture to stop the emotion process once the cloud was as big as his head.
Quzon commanded his Res through mental commands, just like how he moved one of his own limbs. A raised hand lifted because he willed it, and his Res floated into the chasm, pressing against the gem deposits with the same type of ease. It moved about four meters away from him, almost reaching the end of his limit of control. The two other Reimancers drifted their Res along side Quzon's, where they all waited for the command to trigger their attraction.
The drain upon his pool of Djed to summon Res was minimum at best given his skill. It was supremely easy for someone to emit far too much Res, however he was not in any danger, neither was anyone disturbing his concentration. He emitted just enough to be effective on a large scale to the best of his ability. Quzon sat down on the ground to get comfortable as he worked his craft.
"All together, let the earth form shell."
The well built muscular pale skinned warrior willed his cloud of Res into transmutation, not into another element, but by altering the nature of his res into a swirling cloud that seemed to pull the very gem filled earth of the wall towards it. Like the formation of a new planet, the gem deposit started to circle around the large cloud of Res the three Mage's had cast.
The sound of earth being stripped away from its source was a beautiful one in its own way. It sounded like a slow rumble. The start of a stampede before going silent to repeat moments later. It was a team effort to strip the Emeralds from the earth. "Slow. We will not rush. Use gesture for focus." He spoke in a calmly commanding tone. The dark skinned Human lifted a hand to start making hand motions to aid his concentration. Quzon opened and closed his left fist as a physical motion to go along with his mental deactivation of his Res's attraction.
"All together, cease gathering and move to first cart."
Quzon slowly started to motion his closed fist like some type of Mage's staff, using the physical action as a musical conductor to help the others know the speed at which he moved his res, along with guiding the large boulder of earth they all controlled via its tri-res core of control. It took a chimes to safely float the small planet over the first cart.
"Snake, cease your hold."
The Dhani completely stopped the earth control of their res, causing a good portion of the gem filled earth to fall into the cart below. The human was the second one to deactivate their res after moving it over a second cart, and Quzon was the last to follow suit. The Cerulean standing by the carts all had to stand back to avoid any falling earth shrapnel, but started to pick up any fallen piece of valuable resources on the grounds around the carts after the Reimancers were done.
