The man sat mesmerized, listening to Leiwinn's every word. Well, he wasn't really mesmerized, but he thought he was. Why else would he be taking such ridiculous advice from a complete stranger, who seemed to know a lot about his marital problems. In truth, he was under the effect of a bit of magic, but the actual effect wasn't a trance, but was something that caused him to be extremely open and interested in everything Leiwinn was telling him. She did know all about his marital problems though, but that was because earlier his wife had come in and paid her to hypnotize her husband. Furthermore, the husband paid her the usual fee on top of that when he entered the tent later, so it was win win for Leiwinn.
"It's because she does so much for you and feels you are doing nothing for her. If you want her to be more.. frisky with you, all you need to do is tell her thank you every now and then." The man's jaw dropped, shaking his head in bewilderment. "You mean to say, if I want my wife to sleep with me, all I have to do is show her I appreciate her?" Leiwinn nodded, the jewelry around her face twinkling in the candlelight. "That's right. The next time you come home and dinner is ready, tell her how good it is. Tell her thank you. Help her clean up. I promise she will be ready for anything if you do that. Oh, and also, you should try to get promoted. Being a guard is great, but you should be captain of the guard. Power is sexy, and your wife will love that."
Every word out of her mouth was laced with a hint of magic, the djed under her control turning her words from simple advice to the god's truth. The man left the tent ready to shower his wife with love and appreciation, and with a strong desire to do better at his job... everything his wife had paid Leiwinn to get him to do.
Two happy customers satisfied, Leiwinn leaned back in her chair and twiddled her thumbs. Right now business was very slow, and she didn't really expect any more customer's that day. She had already performed her act earlier, and was rather satisfied with herself. She'd drawn a big crowd, people having heard about how she could send a man running in fear without doing anything at all to him. There were several challengers, though she didn't always use her magic on them. Part of being a good hypnotist was recognizing people who know what you're doing to them. Anyone she suspected was overly prepared for her, she changed the act on, and instead of hypnotized them she just gave them a good ol fashion beating instead.
So far she hadn't had too many problems, however, and so she was glad to have gone through another day so smoothly. Deciding it was time to close up shop, Leiwinn got up from her seat and started packing things away. Aside from being her place of business, the tent also happened to be where she slept at night. Almost complete, she walked over to blow out the last candle before going to bed.
