In the tradition of Mizahar and its monthly awards, the Feathered Thread has been awarded to Martini Elwood by the trio of winners from last month's thread. Kynier has kindly written a review of why it was chosen. Martini has until around the middle of next month to select another winner for October and give us a little blurb about it!

Every character has a story to tell. They don’t always need to be epic in nature to have the ability to catch our interest. This was the case with an artist in Riverfall that appears to suffer from nightmares. Reasons is a Job Thread that has been cleverly disguised with character development to show more of who the character is rather than what she does. This style of writing a Job Thread is very refreshing as well as entertaining. To witness how a character decides to deal with the remnants of a traumatic event from their past is something that we readers love to see; and the author had done a marvelous job at writing it out in a way that makes it believable, and feels real.
For those reasons (pardon the pun) it stands out and deserves recognition. Whether Martini Elwood is a favorite character to follow or you just happen to pick a thread to read as a standalone, Reasons will not leave you disappointed.
