Her sparkling green eyes and long, dark brown hair – which is almost always hidden somehow – make her appear mysterious and slightly melancholy. And while strangers never know how true that impression is, Filia enjoys the reflection of her personality in her looks as it often keeps unwanted contact with other people at bay. Among other things, the young woman's attire usually includes a dark cloak that hides parts of her face and the rest of her body. While this might come in handy in cold weather, Filia's reasons are entirely different ones. The heavy cloth serves as both an aid in remaining unseen at night and conceals the telltale tattoo of tendrils and tiny leaves on her cheek and forhead, surrounding her eyes. While she once needed this mark to successfully perform magic, now it is more of a burden to her as it is only useful with very complex incantations and could give her away very easily. When she's not wrapped up in one of her cloaks, it's very obvious that Filia is a beautiful woman. While being rather small for a human, her body matches her height perfectly. Combined with a kind of natural elegance while moving, she manages to turn quite a few heads on the streets. Character Concept Even though she isn't shy in any way, Filia can be very reserved and quiet towards other people, especially humans – having lived with the constant thread of her magic being discovered by someone who'd feel threatened by it, the young woman settled on an isolated but safe life, only really socializing with non-humans. Besides that, her only human contacts consist of men she seduced into sharing her bed on a lonely night. Being mainly a user of personal magic, Filia is very strong-willed but also careful with what she does, knowing she is living a life on the edge. Character History Born in Syliras, Filia moved around a lot and never really settled down in one place until her parents died in an accident when she was 11, leaving her to wander the streets and take care of herself. Even then, the teenager tried her best not to stay anywhere for too long to remain unnoticed and left-alone by anyone who might care about her situation. Most of her time alone was spent stealing food or whatever she needed most at the moment until, one day, she met what seemed to be a very skilled wizard. After months of trying to convince him to teach her about the magic she had been dreaming to use ever since she discovered it within herself as a child he finally gave in. The following years were spent practicing and learning various kind of magic, always being told to be careful with her energy as she could easily kill herself. Then, one day when Filia woke up in the morning, the wizard was gone, leaving her to herself, not sure where to go or what to do with her newfound skills and knowledge.
