Adriana-

Although she is a female teenager, due to her dress and haircut as well as her constant starvation and malnutrition of being homeless, orphaned and poor, she looks like a young boy, perhaps 12 of age at most. And so I respectfully ask that all who come in contact with her assume this as much, unless you have spoken to me beforehand and we agreed something otherwise. Thank you!

I respectfully ask you don't dictate to people how they view your PC based on her level of nutrition and state of dress without you having a single point in the Disguise Skill. It's off-putting in a huge way to behave thusly out of the gate. If you want to be a boy in game, either choose that as a sex or put all your skillpoints in disguise and try to pull it off with rolls verses folks' observation and resolve.

We have firm rules here on Miz. Don't skirt them.

[The Midnight Gem] The New Year's Eve Costume Party!

I don't think anyone realizes how soon Season Change is happening. But us folks at The Midnight Gem have a lot to celebrate. Crylon's birthday is the 92nd...and he wanted a party. Kelski's birthday is the 1st of Spring. So we're throwing a New Years Even Costume party. This is a FREE event. You just have to come in a costume... and EVERYONE is invited. There will be games to play, contests to win, and socialization to earn. Bring yourself. Bring your NPCs. Have fun!

Kelski put up a pretty penny to host the event. Please feel free to come and eat her food and drink her drink and have a great time ushering in 519!

There are spinoff posts to the New Years Eve Party! I just wanted to make sure people knew. Also, there are prizes for the costumes and there's a contest going on with the costume party so be sure to make guesses and interact in that thread. Kelski is ponying up the prizes so they will be great... and probably from her Jewelry Store!

Here's what we have so far. Someone also wanted a Gambling Thread but he quit the site before getting started so I haven't posted one since the others haven't gotten any hits yet either. Regardless, there are all kinds of things to do. Go do something!

The party and spin off threads are for everyone in Sunberth regardless of alignment, gang affiliations, etc. And its FREE to go to with food, drink, and dancing.

Season change is Incoming!

Because I like seeing people panic, this is the warning that season change is in six days. That means you should get in your job placeholders now.

As a reminder: I as the DS of Sunberth don't want to see empty placeholders. At a minimum, post a paragraph in them. If I see empty placeholder I'll delete them. Be a cool kid and don't have your placeholders deleted.

Hey Reg, I'm curious about the Vino. How have they been received by the Big Three? Are they ignored? Tolerated? Accepted? Viewed with caution since they took over the Quay and have recently run the BoC out of business/existence? Would any of the Big Three be interested in seeking out an alliance (or vice versa)? The opposite? Questions, questions!

The Big Three saw the fall of the Brotherhood of Chains as something that would inevitably happen. When it did, they just laughed at the slavers for not being able to hold on to their business.

The Vino currently hold The Quay with a small but efficient amount of man power to hold the territory. They are now being seen in the city as a minor gang. But they have kept to their lanes in the slave trade and have not made any efforts to expand.

Naturally, the Sun's or the Daggerhands would love to own what they don't have. The Night Eye's motives are always a secret. Any alliances would have to be built and discussed In game, but are possible from an outstretched hand from either side.

Hi Folks!

As per the last thread of last season.. the New Years Eve Party The Midnight Gem folks threw... I have all the fortunes told and the kissing thread will be wrapped up. We've already wrapped up the storytelling thread. If you have any more posts to add to the main party thread, please go ahead and post. Then PM me your costume guesses so I can see who is the winner and award them jewelry gift cards from the shop. If you are the only one that guesses, even if they are wrong, you will win so its to your benefit to at least attempt to guess! I have three gift cards, and we can make custom jewelry (or lots of metal things of your choice) for your gift cards so don't just forget about the thread!
