I've added a new section to the Price List dealing with Magecraft items. While I am still adding items to the list, there are a few already in there to start. I've tried to include a range of different items at different costs. My hopes are not only to provide context to the cost and the types of items that can be purchased but also to help show what kinds of things can be made at the lower levels of Magecraft. The only items that are offered for public sale are those with an MC of 3 or less. That being said, there is still a lot of room for variety.

Now for the technical stuff. It is important to note that items enchanted with Magecraft are rather expensive even for minor ones. Also, said items are not found for public sale everywhere in Mizahar. In order to sell said items in a player owned/operated shop, one must have the required skills to actually craft the item. In order to actually craft items, one must do a lot of showing and not just telling in regards to the creation process in their threads. In other words, one needs to provide detailed description into the process, with creativity and development beyond just restating what's in the Lore. So, in order to sell Magecraft items in a player owned/operated shop, the item must be created in thread first to establish it into the business location price list.

Just a slight update to Dira's Gnosis, Eiyon. I realized that it was a little too focused on just death and its relation to the living. There needed to be a bit more related to the Eiyon's being tasked to hunt down those who attempt to escape the cycle of life and death; the undead. Not too extreme of changes; Eiyons can track the undead through their five senses at one mark, affect not just ghosts but all incorporeal undead without the need for Spiritism at two marks and their Death Scythe is clarified in its effects on both the living and the undead at three and four marks.

I keep forgetting about this thread. New additions recently added to The Wiki:

  • Divine_Attention_To_Skills, D.A.T.S., DATS - Mastery of Skills that qualify people for gnosis marks due to their hard work in game. I put lots of redirects because the name is a bit awkward.
  • Resolve - The Resolve System is now in the wiki so its easier to dig it up.
  • Tablero - A real life drinking and dice game we added to Mizahar's world. Feel free to suggest or write up more games. We need quite a few more available to play in roleplay.
  • Djedline - A way to demotes a line of succession of mages akin to a family bloodline.
  • Arcanology - A new skill that involves the scientific study of magic.
  • Inordination - Wizard lingo. Add more to the wiki yourself!
  • Crystalline_Spheres - Type of magical artifact.
  • Body_Decay, Decay_Rates - A complete list of how long that corpse will last you Nuits.

Thanks!

Goss

Reimancy, Morphing, and Leeching now require HD ticket permission to start out with. Preference will be given to veteran players and great storylines.

Webbing is a Drykas only magic. An OOC tag has been added to its page denoting a player must be a Drykas in good standing with the Drykas nation to start out with Webbing. This has always been the case, but now it has a prominent tag at the top of its page pointing this out.

I added an OOC note on the Vantha page about them being hunted as part of the missing Morwen plot since another person had to redo their character. I figure we can take it off once that plot point is resolved.

Howdy,

Here on Mizahar, we offer a few different types of NPCs to be used in your stories and writing. Today we are introducing one more type that will hopefully address the need for NPCs that don't quite fit into the other types. Specifically I am speaking of Underlings.

Underlings are those NPCs that are not traditional employees, family members, companions, kelvic bondmates, slaves. They do not quite fit in as city NPCs either because those NPCs are usually moderator only or can be used by anyone. Underlings are squires, knights, soldiers, acolytes, gang members, etc,. They are NPCs that are often a bit beefier in skills than Stationary NPCs or Traveling Companions but aren't as advanced as full City NPCs.

This new NPC type has been added to the NPC Lore.

The third type of NPC is the '''Underling''' who is assigned to the PC as a part of being a member of religious, military or other type of organizations that offer such things. Classic examples are: Syliran Squires or Knights, Black Sun Acolytes and Agents, Ebonstryfe Apprentices and Soldiers and even Sunberth Gangs. They adhere to the following rules:

* Must be requested at the Help Desk to be available and please include what the organizations skill requirements are for that NPC's rank.

* Up to 60 skill points and no racial bonuses; no single skill higher than competent.

* Skill choices and points must meet the minimum requirements for their rank within the given organization.

* PC must properly justify NPC via an explanation in the help desk.

* Unchanging - meaning can't be trained up or skills expanded upon.

* These NPCs are supported by the organization they are a part of and do not have their living expenses deducted from the PC's ledger.

* Must be earned by the PC in-thread or introduced in-thread if granted as benefit of PC rank.

* Founders reserve the right to turn any and all NPCs down.

* Are under shared control between the PC and the NPC organization meaning they are not under the complete control of the PC although the PC does have a lot of freedom in their use.

* Must be associated with a particular NPC organization. Personal apprentices or NPCs that are not directly affiliated with an organization that the PC is a part of are not considered to be an Underling NPC.

* Must be added to the PC's storyteller's secret thread.

Of course as this new NPC type is play tested, there may be a bit of modification but that will be addressed as needed. Also, we will be reviewing existing organizations and looking at the requirements for being a member to see which ones need adjustment, addition or omission in order to have NPCs that meet the above requirements be available to PCs whenever possible.
