A kind shopkeeper greeted them and pointed them towards a collection of boots, suited for the heavy rain of this season. Out of the collection, Dev'Ania chose a pair of leather boots that reached her knees. Dev knew these were perfect and immediately bought them. She removed her old boots and slipped on her new ones.
Finished shopping, the pair went to Dev'Ania's home. They sat in front of the fire and chatted about future outings and how Gemma could get better.
