Administration Offices

The Administration Offices are one of the few buildings that had been used by the University of Zeltiva before the Valterrian. Located on the west half of the campus, it is a large and truly magnificent building, a two-story granite edifice that rests beside the famed West Wing. The front is adorned with columns and carved flowers, and is still well-preserved some seven centuries after its construction.

Most of the University's top administrators have their offices here. The members of the Board of Regents, and several of the more prestigious professors and researchers all have space allotted to them here. There are also a number of meeting rooms, storage areas, workrooms, and other things reserved for these administrators and instructors, without student access.

Ubiquitous blue lights illuminate the interior of the Administration Office, their presence a reminder that the University has contact with more powerful mages than it sometimes let on. The building resembles a maze, similar to the West Wing, with corridors branching off in all directions, and identical dark Zeltivan wood doors at regularly spaced intervals without plaque or title to inform one of whom or what lies inside.

Perhaps for this reason, a receptionist's desk is positioned just inside the entrance. It is staffed by a rotating cast of low-level officials, and it is impossible to predict who would be there on any given day. Nonetheless, if anyone has an inquiry, they will find the receptionist friendly and informed as to the contents and whereabouts of those in the building. Although the administration building holds the offices of high ranking administrators in the University, it is difficult to navigate and unwelcoming to those not meant to be there. Due to the restricted access one must make an appointment in order to visit these offices, and will not be allowed to simply wander in.
