I'm sorry this took me so long; it was a bit of an intimidating thread, not going to lie! That said, it was an excellent read. I'm so used to seeing Madeira being composed and sly and manipulative; seeing her experience such terror was kind of fun, and I loved the struggle she went through of fearing death and then accepting it.
Her wounds would all be mostly if not fully healed by now, though the scars will be fairly severe and cause her discomfort. Congrats on your gnosis mark!

As I said already, this was a great read. Jomi has always been a bit of a little shit and causes Madeira no end of grief; seeing how much he cares for her despite it and how far he's willing to go to help and protect her (even if it's still with his own agenda in mind) was genuinely touching, especially when he was so terrified.
Same with Madeira, any consequences of using up your soulmist like that should be gone by now.

As I said already, this was a great read.
