Born to a pair of Shinya guards, Vigor rarely got to live the life of an average child. Throughout early adolescence, his parents both died on duty leaving him truly on her own. He was left the home that he currently lives in, but that was about it. When faced with being married off by his relatives, he always declined the support of another. What little money he did have was never enough to compound into large purchases since he typically spent his money on short term pleasures.
Vigor learned Flux from his father before he died. He didn't learn it because he wanted to in particular, but instead because all the men in his family were expected to learn it if they wanted to be respected.
Later in his teens Vigor found a clique where, for the first time, he felt like he could fit in. One night out drinking with them and he knew he was finally not alone.
