Physical Appearance
Long dark brunette hair frames Innah's slim face.Wide hazel eyes, often lined in dark khol are constantly observing the people and places around her. Her skin is lightly tan and her body is slender, lacking both fat and muscle, though she is not wiry, which she is thankful for. There is nothing all that remarkable about Innah and that is exactly how she likes it.
Innah tends to wear simple dresses in jewel tones, her favourite being a deep burgundy. She wears her hair loose the majority of the time, unless she is working. In that case she will tie it in a ponytail at the nape of her neck or, rarely, in a long braid.
Concept
Innah has an outwardly friendly demeanor, her eyes and voice usually soft. She is passionate about learning and seeking knowledge, especially of the magical sort, and thoroughly enjoys her training as a jewelcrafter.
Beneath the soft and respectful exterior, Innah has layers that she herself is still discovering. After her mother left her when she was young, a feeling of inadequacy began to grow in her. Innah felt that if only she had been more powerful, had more knowledge, then maybe her mother would not have left her behind. As a result of this feeling, she wishes for power, though that battles with her need to stay out of the 'spotlight'.
History
Innah was born in Zeltiva to Helena and Marcus Larkford. Helena was a gifted reimancer and animator, while Marcus was part of the city's Wave Guard.
Innah doesn't remember much about her time in Zeltiva, but her strongest childhood memory is of her mother teaching her auristics for the first time. She still clearly remembers the pride in Helena's eyes when the young Innah saw an aura for the first time.
When Innah was 6 years old, Helena left her and her father and she never saw her mother again. Innah grew to believe that she had been left behind because she was not gifted enough for her mother to take her to wherever she was going.
Not long after Helena had left them, Marcus decided to move himself and his daughter to Lhavit for a fresh start. The journey was long, but eventually they made it to the shining city in the mountains. Innah attended the academy while Marcus retrained and eventually joined the ranks of the Shinya.
Innah, now a young woman, has decided to leave her father's home and try to make her own way. She still carries the feeling of inadequacy with her, and her own desire to gain such power that her mother may one day realise what she left behind. Innah wishes to learn and master various magics, however after observing how Lhavit works, she is also coming to understand that there are other kinds of power and that perhaps she should broaden her horizons even further.
