Katie Eypharian 61st Day of Fall, 493 AV 17 Female Physical Description Katie has long black hair and dark brown eyes with a pale complexion. Unlike the majority of eypharians, Katie only has four arms instead of six and she is on the short side of 4’5” and only weighs 96 pounds. Katie has bruises and scars all over her back legs and arms and only three major bruises on her stomach. Katie looks down on the human race in a whole because she has been enslaved by the human race for as long as she can remember. Each slave owner only looking for pleasure and money, purchased from domain to domain. She wants to live a free life, but she also wishes to free all of the slaves, but doing one would conflict with the other. Katie has no memories of her parents or anything outside of slavery for that matter. She has a natural fear of thunderstorms which has been a constant tool of cruelty from most of her masters.

Character History Since Katie can remember, she has been a slave for some master, masters changed over time when they felt they needed more money. Katie was always one of the first to be sold because her value was high because of her beauty even under her scars. She has heard her value with each selling, each time she has become more and more expensive. Even though she knew nothing else, she always knew there was more to life than being a slave. She would cry when she saw children at play and be scolded for showing such ugliness. When Katie was about eight years old, she witnessed a new slave boy who was younger than her being introduced to the horrible life of slavery. The boy was told to carry too many items and ended up dropping them on a soldier’s foot, this soldier took the boy by the hair and began to beat him. Katie became enraged, started running for the soldier, jumped on his back, bit into his neck, and took his own dagger and punctured his heart. The blue skinned boy looked at her in fear when she offered to help him up, blood dripping from her mouth and splattered over her body. The master of the house walked in the room and saw a dead guard, a bruised boy, and a blood covered girl. He took a spear from his other guard and killed the boy who showed such a weakness. Katie saw this and almost attacked her master but he had already grabbed her by her hair and lifted her off the ground. He took the knife out of her hand and punctured her throat with it, purposely only cutting a single area. Katie blacked out and had a dream of that day, seeing everything from outside her own body. From that day she could not speak, this was her punishment for killing a guard, but she was lucky the master did not wish to have her killed. Within that same week Katie was sold off, she was not bathed from the killing she did and most glanced over her since they thought she would be a handful. One man finally purchased her in hopes of something that Katie hated. This man purchased her only to torture her till she broke down, he asked the previous owner about her and discovered her worst fear. Katie was chained outside without any clothing and only fed the leftovers from the other generous slaves. She remained outside in the middle of the summer season, completely unable to move, this man took pleasure in watching her as she struggled and trembled and cried during the storms. He was a painter, and he found her beauty with fear the most wonderful thing he could ever paint, and he painted several pictures of her that season. When the storm season came to an end, he unchained her and covered her with a robe; both of them discovered she was too weak to stand from the three months of being chained. The man no longer found a reason to have her and sold her off. Over time Katie has gained just enough strength to stand again and is usually sent off to do petty chores for her masters. Some of these masters send her to purchase items, and she would hide away the remaining coin for herself. She knew she did not want to go through the punishment of being kept outside again, so she did exactly whatever her masters asked of her. Whenever she was in her room, she would practice steps of combat, preparing and refusing to forget how to fight. She knew one day she would have to fight for freedom, and continue to fight, so she wanted to be ready.
