Eva watched as Moritz gently but forcefully put himself between her and the women, feeling them reluctantly let her go. She rubbed her arms softly as their grip was a bit strong and pressed against Moritz's back and peeked around him, feeling safe enough to look at the women. However, instead she got caught Moritz intimidating the women back as they wore a look of shock before becoming entitled. They started screeching at Mortiz about how they wouldn't let some rude boy shop at their stall and that he assaulted them but they were going to let him go. Evalynn was shocked at how an adult could, let alone three, could have the audacity.
"Let's leave, these women are out of their minds." Eva tugged on Moritz to retreat as the woman just seemed to be huffing away their frustrations on him while keeping a safe distance away. She wanted to try and look at their wares, but after this customer service, she was more inclined to just run away. "I am sure I can find more hygiene items elsewhere. Ones that aren't made by touchy vendors."
She glared at the women, and if Moritz allowed, she would once again lead them away from the stand, still feeling their glares. She was unaffected by them, and instead focused on holding onto her guide and finding a different stall far away from here. After a bit, she slowed down and gently leaned on his arm, taking in a few breaths before taking up Moritz's hand.
"Thank you so much for stepping in. I know you didn't have to, but I am so thankful for it." She looked up at him and smiled with a kind smile. "You actually saved my life, as I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't stepped in." And this much was true. Eva started feeling overwhelmed at the strange women just touching all over her without warning or context. It was strange, and a feeling in her gut said if she let them keep going they would've found out about who she was. And if that happened…she may have to have initiated her promise to herself and therefore go back into hiding.
The thought of that caused her to squeeze onto Moritz as she couldn't think about just up and leaving him. But with her life on the line, a romance just beginning was painfully less important than that. But the moment was interrupted when her stomach growled loudly and her eyes went wide. Was it already time to eat? Has that much time really passed? She gave a chuckle and shrugged a bit.
"Are you hungry? I don't know what's around, but I hope to eat something you pick." With that, she now allowed Moritz the option to choose where they were eating. Maybe they could have some small talk as they did so. But then again, they needed to hurry up with the shopping trip and not stall too much, which was something Eva so desperately would rather do in his presence.
