Appearance: Rhydian is a six armed male of the Eypharian race that stands just shy of seven feet tall. The Eypharian has a rather lean body with a lack of the musculature that often accompanies those of his kind. Given his massive height and lean body, his weight without any gear or clothing on comes to about two hundred and fifty two pounds. Of course those aren't his only physical features. If one were to turn their attention to the six armed individual, they would immediately take note of the fact that his flowing dark brown hair comes down to his shoulders, even with parts of his hair having been braided together. As for his tanned skin, full beard, and passionate steel eyes, these may or may not grab the attention of others. Beauty is subjective and while Rhydian may like these features of himself, that doesn't quite mean that others may feel the same.

Clothing and Accesories: Truth be told, Rhydian would much rather go without clothing just about all of the time. Clothing are restrictive and tend to get in the way of the things that he wishes to do. At the same time however, he can understand the necessity behind wearing such things whilst traversing through the jungles or when in the company of those that weren't quite comfortable with themselves or others. That being said, whenever he has to where clothes, Rhydian tends to wear very little overall. His outfit mainly consists of simple clothing that are little more than scraps and a rather intricate looking cloak. This cloak is entirely covered in foliage that matches the jungle like surroundings of Syka. It is made of of a combination of moss, vines, and leaves. Never really seeing the point of repairing his clothing, Rhydian can quite often be found either completely in the nude or wearing these basic scraps and the cloak.

✨Character Concept✨

Rhydian is an overall boisterous individual that doesn't have very many life experiences. Due to the fact that he has experienced so little, the Eypharian can seem quite excitable when it comes to new things. He tends to enjoy swimming and fishing first and foremost but that is likely due to the fact that those are the key things that he has done since he was young and one of the few things that he was taught as a means of survival. Of course even with this outgoing personality of his, there are still those out in the world that might fight a way to annoy him. If he were to ever encounter such a person, it is likely that he would try to be amicable with them whilst still totally letting them know just how annoying he was finding their actions. He isn't the kind of person to lie to save someone's feelings, seeing as he believes that everyone deserves the truth if they are to receive an answer at all.

Although Rhydian himself is not aware of this, the only reason that he lives on to this day is thanks to the decision that was made by his parents long ago. His parents had been proud warriors within the Eypharian city of Ahnatep but hadn't exactly agreed with each of the rules of the city. They hadn't quite agreed with the idea of slavery, despite the fact that so many others of their kind had been perfectly fine with it, and as such didn't really ever go out of their way to acquire a slave. Of course this wasn't he only major rule that they hadn't quite agreed with. For one, they didn't quite agree with the fact that they would need to acquire the permission of the Zapatl before producing a child. While they could understand the reasoning behind the ruling, they had simply believed that what they chose to do with their bodies was their own choice and that no one else should have any say over whether or not they could have a kid or not. These two rules combined would eventually lead to the events in which young Rhydian would lose his parents.

Unfortunately Rhydian would go on to lose his mother in child birth, given the strain the his six arms would have on her body, but he still had his father. At least that had been the case at first. Once the Zapatl had learned of the fact that a child had been born without their say so, members of the Jackals had been sent to acquire the child and put an end to his life. Rhydian's father had refused to allow these Jackals to kill his child, after having just lost his wife, and would go on to purchase a Charodan slave by the name of Lyel. In exchange for her freedom, Rhydian's father had requested that she take his child and flee from the city. This was something that Lyel didn't have to stick to. She could have easily agreed to go along with the actions that he had been requesting and could have left young Rhydian alone. When the time had come for it though, she simply couldn't leave the six armed child alone. Once the time had been upon them, Lyel had taken the Eypharian and fled the city whilst Rhydian's father had remained behind, fighting off the Jackals. Unfortunately Rhydian's father had lost his life that day. Not that the child would ever come to know this.

Having nowhere to go, Lyel had decided to take young Rhydian and attempt to find a home for the two of them. Part of her had naturally wanted to return to Charbosi but she had known that this child could never survive there. Not unless he were to acquire the Gnosis of Oceanus at any point. Given that this was unlikely to occur for some time, the Charoda had decided to take up residency on the coast of The Riverfall within The Cyphrus Region. It is here that the duo would spend their days, Lyel teaching Rhydian everything that he had needed to know in order to survive, and Rhydian doing his best to absorb her lessons. Of course once every fourteen days, the duo would make their way out towards the actual city so that the child could develop a semblance of communication skills with those outside of Lyel. He also just couldn't handle residing upon the coast for too long before his mind had craved communication with others. Whenever the pair had managed to visit the city though, they would find themselves at Laviku's Tower. It is here that Rhydian had learned of Laviku and had become somewhat interested in the god. Of course things wouldn't last in this region forever. Rhydian was going to be an adult soon and that meant that Lyel was going to be returning to her homeland. That being the case, before Lyel would depart from Rhydian's life, she would be sure to drop him off at a newly formed settlement known as Syka. It is within this new land that his story begins.

Magic Item :

Herbmaster’s Mason Jars: These special one of a kind glass jars which were specifically made by a wandering herbalist to grow small plants within them. No matter what kind of soil you put in these jars, it will always change to a dark colored mix that will continue to keep any plant they put in it alive so long as they continue to water it once per day. Plants grown within these jars generally require little upkeep, just plenty of sun and water to reach their full potential which they tend to reach a little quicker than their wild or garden grown counterparts.



Camouflage cloak (Jungle) : This cloak is covered in foliage that matches a single environment that the user chooses (I.E. Jungle would be made of moss, vines and leaves). When worn in the environment it emulates, it grants a +5 to stealth rolls. Additionally it keeps the user warm and dry thanks to the magical treatment that has been given.



Traveler’s supply kit: A relatively ordinary looking wooden box with handles the end. It is around 1 1/2 feet wide and 2 feet long, and is made to house two compartments which the handles on either end open. On the left handle there is Syna’s symbol and on the right Leth’s. During the day, only the left side of the box is able to be open, and inside one can find basic medical supplies like bandages, ointments and small surgical tools that replenish once per day after a full night cycle. The left side of the box which only opens at night contains a wooden tankard, a small flask, and a wooden pipe. While holding the flask, and speaking either “Beer”, “Wine”, or “Whiskey” one will find the flask full of whichever they decided upon, and to miraculously contain more than such a small flask should contain but only if it is poured into the provided container. The pipe also comes each night pre-filled with Syliran Tobacco which replenishes every night after a full day cycle.



Twin torques - These metal torques always come in pairs, and are meant to be worn by close friends and/or lovers. When worn by a pair of individuals that share a close relationship with one another it enables the pair to know the direction the other one is from them, and roughly how far because the torque will get warmer the closer one gets, but only while they are concentrating on the other person. If one of the pair feels like they are in danger, it will alert their counter part, and give a brief idea of their direction without the partner having to concentrate on the other person however they will have to do so after if they wish to continue tracking them. These torques when worn for the first time will change aesthetically to fit the wearer’s taste, but only for the first time, after which the change is permanent.



Dreamglaze Gems: These beautiful bits of blown glass appear to capture bits of an otherworldly scene within them, and tend to glow at night if one has spent a good bit of time out in the sun. When worn on a necklace or bracelet they grant the user and increased clarity to meditation +5, and if worn at night while the wearer is sleeping, vivid dreams that the wearer will be able to remember for a few chimes after waking up in the morning. However there is an additionally property that can be unlocked for those with the time and patience to. Doing so however will take more than a little bit of experimentation as it will require looking into the gems depths while meditating until one can almost see the pattern moving, and then that night it must be worn while sleeping. What happens after that is that they will have a dream the likes of which they have never had before in which they will interact with those who have also unlocked the gem’s ability, and whom are also currently sleeping. This will function just like they had met them in person regardless of distance but the setting is always the same. A small study with a fireplace, and bookshelves lining every wall. If one had a fancy to, one could try to find a book to read off of this wall but only one, because if they try to take another they will awake from the dream instantly. (How this is going to work is if you want to find a book in this study, you must contact a storyteller first to determine its availability, and then roll for it in chat. For instance a mundane book of poetry would be a much lower roll than something exceptionally more rare like Kelvics of Kalea so contact your local storyteller to figure out what needs to be rolled.) One can achieve this effect once every thirty days, and can activate it by meditating on the gem again.

General Information :

1. What is your Name?
Although this isn't the name that he was born with, he currently goes by the name of Rhydian Lamoze. The reason for this is that his caretaker, Lyel, figured that this was the closest thing to the name of someone that she had figured could be his father.
2. Do you go by a nickname or pet name?
At the moment, there isn't any sort of nickname or pet name that he goes by.
3. How old are you?
Rhydian is currently eighteen years old.
4. What is your height?
Rhydian stands proudly just shy of seven feet tall.
5. What is your weight?
His overall weight without any clothing or gear is at about two hundred and fifty two pounds.

Aesthetics :

1. Describe yourself as you see yourself.
"I suppose that if I had to think of how to describe myself, I would just say that I'm just your average guy! A wilderness survival buff that hates clothing but loves swimming."
2. Describe yourself as others typically see you.
"You know, I've never really ever asked anyone how they see me. I'll have to do that!"
3. What is your favorite body feature?
"If I had to choose a body feature that I favored, I suppose that I would have to choose my powerful arms!"
4. How physically fit are you?
Although not as fit as some of the others of his race, Rhydian maintains a rather slender form and definitely has a bit of muscle albeit not very much.
5. How do you typically dress and what is your style?
Although he prefers not to wear clothing in the first place, when he has to wear clothing he just kind of wears scraps. This is naturally subject to change as the money comes rolling on in.

Family :

1. Who are your parents and what are they like?
"I never really met my birth parents but Lyel is essentially my ma and she is the best! If it wasn't for her, I probably wouldn't even be here. She really did save me."
2. Do you have any brothers or sisters?
"I don't believe that I have any siblings but I may be wrong. It's not like I really know much about my birth family anyways."
3. What is your extended family like?
"Like I just said, I don't know much about my birth family."
4. Do you consider close friends as important or more/less important than family?
5. Do you treat animals like family?
"Given that I don't really have any family outside of Lyel, I can definitely agree to the fact that close friends are as important as family to me. Of course I would do anything for Lyel! The same could likely be said about any friends that I make."

Location :

1. Where were you born?
"From what I was told, I was born here in the Falyndar Region. Lyel says that she found me out in the Jungle Woods though. Guess that's where my parents crossed."
2. Where do you live now?
"At the moment, I am living out in Syka. Thankfully Lyel decided to drop me off at this settlement before returning to Charbosi."
3. If you could live anywhere in Mizahar where would that be?
"If it were possible, I would love to live in Charbosi alongside Lyel. Maybe someday I'll find a way to make this possible."
4. Do you have a favorite place to vacation or spend leisure time?
"I don't really vacation anywhere but I do enjoy swimming or just kind of floating atop of the surface of the water in my spare time."
5. Where do you fear to be?
"Although I can't really say that there is anywhere that I fear to be, I suppose that being back in the jungle wilds before I am ready would be bad..."

Traits :

1. Do you have any physical weaknesses (disease, scars, and missing limbs?)
At the moment, there aren't any physical weaknesses that Rhydian has.
2. Are you right handed or left handed?
Given his six arms and hands, Rhydian has managed to discover the fact that he is ambidextrous. Of course this only applies to basic tasks at the moment and not weapons.
3. What languages do you speak? What do you sound like? Do you have an accent?
The languages that Rhydian speaks are listed above. His voice is a bit deeper than most and has a rather husky intonation. As for any sort of accent, although it may sound strange, any accent that he has would be similar to that of his mothers race.
4. Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Any odd mannerisms or annoying habits that Rhydian has have yet to be discovered by him as of yet. There surely are some at the moment though.
5. Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? Why do you have them (or will get them) ?
At the moment, there aren't any tattoos or piercings that inhabit Rhydian's body. This is subject to change though as time goes on.

Occupations :

1. What is your occupation?
At the moment, Rhydian acts as a Pearl Diver for the settlement of Syka.
2. Do you like/dislike your work? Why?
Work in general isn't something that Rhydian really enjoys or doesn't enjoy one way or another. For this particular job though? Rhydian loves it! Any chance to be in the water allows for him to thrive.
3. If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be?
This isn't something that the Eypharian really has an answer to at the moment.
4. What occupation do you admire the most? Why?
One of the occupations that Rhydians admires the most is that of the Founders. From his understanding, they are the leaders of the settlement first and foremost and have the responsibility of caring for those within their lands. This is highly respectable to the Eypharian.
5. What occupation do you least like? Why?
With this job having been his first occupation ever, Rhydian doesn't really have any particular occupation that he may not like.

Childhood :

1. What sort of child were you?
Rhydian was quite the energetic and rambunctious child when he was younger. It is a surprise that Lyel was able to keep up with him.
2. What is your favorite memory from childhood?
His favorite memory as a child was when Lyel had first started teaching him how to swim.
3. What is your worst memory from childhood?
His worst memory from childhood was the time that he had attempted deep sea diving with Lyel and managed to get caught within an underground cavern. He had almost lost his life in that moment and has mostly been avoiding underwater caves since that point.
4. What sort of relationship did you have with your parents?
Unfortunately Rhydian didn't have much of a relationship with his birth parents before they had passed away. As for his relationship with Lyel though, it is by far one of the most sturdy relationships around.
5. Who was your most influential rolemodel?
Due to everything that she has done for him, Rhydian can unabashedly say that Lyel is his rolemodel.

Education :

1. What sort of education do you have?
Having no formal education, everything that Rhydian was taught as a child had been to ensure his survival. It would be safe to say that his education was both effective and not effective.
2. Do you like/dislike learning?
He doesn't exactly dislike learning. He just finds it difficult to sit still and read a book. It's much easier for him to learn by doing things.
3. Where or how did you learn most of your skills/abilities?
Lyel has been his mentor since day one.
4. How do you learn best?
Rhydian learns far better via visual learning and practice.
5. What are your educational goals for the future?
He hopes to learn more in the ways of survival as time goes on. As long as he can be better for the people of Syka and for himself, he will be happy.

Relationships :

Aside from Lyel, he hasn't really had the opportunity to do so with anyone else.
2. Do you trust people easily? If not, why not?
One must trust others easily if they are to make it in the wilds.

Although this hasn't really ever been something that he would need to consider, Rhydian is assuredly pansexual. He sees people as they are; as people.

Alcohol isn't even the kind of thing that Rhydian has ever tried before.

These seem to be the kinds of things that would affect ones body in a negative manner so it's likely that it isn't the kind of thing that he would ever really use outside of trying it once or twice. Of course this is subject to change if he ever partakes.

Swimming!

"I'm not really sure how to read so much, outside of basic things."

Ignorant people that refuse to acknowledge when they are in the wrong.

Floating atop of the water of the sea.

"I don't really think that there is anything that embarrasses me. Guess I'll just have to find out what kind of things do."

Rhydian doesn't see himself as an optimist or as a pessimist. If anything, he considers himself to be that of a realist.

"While I don't quite worship the gods, there are a few that I send my prayers out to."

It wouldn't be the first time that I have had to kill something.

Sex is natural and healthy for the body. It isn't something that he himself has ever done but he is sure that he'll enjoy it when that times comes.

As long as one can be happy, that is all that one needs for a successful life.

1. What is the worst and best thing you’ve ever done?
The worst and best things that he has ever done? The worst is definitely the time that he had to eat an infant animal so that he could survive. The best would have to be the time that he had managed to take down a bird with his longbow.

His biggest regret would have to be the time that he had to eat that infant animal.
3. What is your best/worst memory?
His best memory has to be the time that Lyel had taught him how to swim and his worst memory had to be the time that he had almost died in that underwater cavern.

"I wouldn't change anything about the past. If I were to do that than I wouldn't be the man that I am today."
5. What are you the most proud of doing in your life?
"I am most proud of having acquired a job as a pearl diver."

"I have no reason to lie to others. If they don't like the things that I have to say, when it's the truth, than that is their problem."

"I don't believe that I do?"

"I would die for Lyel without a second thought."

I tend to treat others fairly and kindly until they give me a reason not to.

"The most important person in my life is Lyel. I'm sure that you can understand why by now."

The same as listed above.

Rhydian doesn't have a significant other but is hoping to eventually find one. They don't really have an ideal lover though.

If there is anyone that Rhydian trusts to protect him, it would have to be himself. He is working at bettering himself for just this purpose after all. To protect himself and others.

It depends entirely on the situation.

It depends entirely on the situation.

This isn't something that he really minds. If anything, he is enjoying being in an area that allows for him to interact with others.

It depends entirely on the person. If it is someone that he cares for than yes but if it's just about anyone else? Not really.

"I think that each person is different and can be their own person. I make my judgements on people based on their actions and nothing else."

"My greatest strength as a person is my capacity to adapt to anything that is going on around me."

"My greatest weakness? I suppose that it would be my wanderlust."

If one were to check his survival gear than they would say that he is quite organized. If they were to visit his home though? Well it is quite a mess!

"The answer to this question is quite simple. The god and goddess that I find most appealing to me are Caiyha and Laviku."

"I can't really say that I'm afraid of any deity."

"Not at the moment! Hopefully I can earn one someday though."

"That depends entirely on my devotion levels to that deity."

"I suppose that it depends entirely on what the deity is asking of me. I refuse to harm any of my loved ones."

"I live solely for the people that I care for."

"The best part of life is the enjoyment that you can get out of it."

"The best part of death..? Well I suppose that the best part of death would be whatever it is that comes next."

"I don't really know how to answer this... Any way aside from drowning, I suppose."

"I hope to be remembered for the person that I was during my life long into the future. I don't know what for but I know that I don't want to be forgotten."
