One- first job thread will be a thorough clean up and tally of the smithy and its items as well as mounting Izzy. It will be his way of forging a new and official beginning in Syka by establishing his own anvil in one place.

25 an hour, 250 a day minimum is 25K strikes! with up to 100 an hour/4 nails a minute with 3 or 4 irons on the fire (and a striker) is maximum nail drive output.

Average day is 20K-30K strikes.

Always grind the head edge or they'll be sharp and jagged

150 lbs. Use a spring swage to work alone if you don't have a striker. Make or find a few swage blocks and with a clamping jig.
Make a separate 10 lb small swage block anvil with an inch and a 1 3/8 inch for the hardy holes. *Lever the hole to move and prop it to hold* never stick your fingers underneath as you lever or you could break them! Eider block for spoons and ladles, balls, hooks and shovels.
