Happy Season Change!!!
It's currently Winter, 521 A.V. and it will be the last season of 521. All threads in 521 are grandfathered, which means no one can enter those threads without having previously posted in them and the players writing them should wrap them up as soon as possible. No new threads can be posted in what are now previous seasons.
The current open cities are as follows:- Lhavit - Moderated by Luminescence
- Syka - Moderated by Gossamer
- Ravok - Moderated by Gillar
- Sunberth - Unsupported
- Zeltiva - Unsupported
The Outpost, The Suvan Sea, The Outter Oceans, Divine Connections, Dreamscapes, and Other Dimensions and Worlds are all open to play.
Unsupported Domains are 'play at your own risk' and you must help desk ticket your support like wages and job approvals etc because there is no one else to do these things. Do not help desk ticket grade requests. I have no time to do them myself and you are at the mercy of graders who do have time. Volunteer to be a grader. It is allowed for you to grade your own threads.
- Volunteer to Moderate if you have time.
- Volunteer to Grade if you have time.
- If you volunteer for a position, follow through with that position and be active.
Reminder, as of September we have a major rule change. Our previous rules state one can only play a singular character per domain. That means, within each city, a PC can't have multiple characters. NPCs are allowed, but as someone recently pointed out, even if you do tons of work with those NPCs, they get to reflect no growth or gain unless they are Organizational NPCs. And yet PCs who have personal NPCs still must pay expenses for them. The rules change fixes this. We had a discussion HERE where the changes were proposed and approved.
Here's the following changes.- Individual players will not be restricted to the number of player characters they can have in one city as long as that number doesn't exceed their total game-wide allowed total of five PCs.
- PC's who are owned by a singular player may be employed, related, and interact with other PCS owned by the same player. These can earn wages, do business transactions, and enter into agreements or arrangements like marriage, slavery, co-housing etc.
- Upon death or retirement of a PC, any transfer of possessions or coin between PCs owned by the same player must be approved through the Help Desk. One item may be 'inherited' by surviving PC family members or friends upon the death of a PC so long as it is okayed by a moderator and doesn't fall into the 'large scale item' category of house, business, etc or are considered quest or artifact level items.
Don't forget you can play multiple characters in one domain now.
