Stretching northward along the coastline of the Suvan Sea, the Cobalt Mountains are the home of the Bronze Wood, numerous ruins, and creatures both strange and fantastical.

Zerdyne felt slightly at a social disadvantage as there was silence between them until she must have been looking for something. He cocked his brow then understood when she asked about a horse. "He's a simple mountain pony, but strong." As if on queue, the sound of the slamming of hooves could be hear as the pony was scraping away the snow to find something to graze upon. It was slightly hidden by the brush but one could make out the creature's features if they looked hard enough.

Zerodyne looked at the fire and though about the area he was in, he really couldn't remember the names of any place at all! So it was more than just himself that he couldn't remember, he couldn't even remember the places, cities, mountains, anything! Where was he even now? He shook his head as he remembered that he had someone with him. Rubbing his dark rimmed eyes he just stretched and looked at Niah. "So...What do you do in the city?" He took note that she had been playing with a knife, giving a hint of some kind of training or fighting ability was held within her.

Awakening ((Open))

Postby Kaeliinthia on January 28th, 2011, 4:52 pm

Kaeliinthia had been crouched down, hiding in the bushes, watching the two converse in conversation around the fire. Her eyes burned in intensity as she awaited for the right moment to enter the campsite. Her longbow set along beside her as she ran fingers through the backside of her feather-tailed arrow.
She watched as the horse trotting around the post, almost as if she waited for the horse to sense her presence.
She slowly stepped from the bushes, bow set and ready. Her arrow set upon the rest and pulled back as one eye squinted for better aim. She began side stepping around to face them before demanding, "What are you two doing here?"
Her posture would show that she was a fairly talented archer.

Awakening ((Open))

Postby Zerodyne on January 28th, 2011, 4:58 pm

Zaerodyne was a little surprised when women came out of the brush. My my..many new people today, he thought to himself as he still had a hand upon his crossbow. He looked at Niah then back to the stranger and just sighed. "This is no private land...so I believe your question is really invalid to the situation." He almost seemed to mock her with his dark eyes as he played the back-talking teen, mixed with educated adult. He realized that this women was more hostile than Niah had been, so this might prove to be very irritating.

Zerodyne didn't wish to fight for fear of injuring his body, for he would never be able to heal. He would just have to sew himself up and make sure it keeps, if he where to get injured. He remembered as he stared at the newcomer that Niah had been holding a knife with a practiced hand, maybe..they could take the other women on if she truly meant to harm them.

Niah glanced at the pont between the bushes. She could barely make it out in the snow, but it was there and that reminded her that she too needed a horse of some sort for her upcoming trip to Ravok and Avanthal. Ara wished to leave in Spring in order to find a great master to teach her the violin. Niah felt the need to find the bandits that haunted her dreams.

Grabbing a handful of twigs she threw them in the fire and watched as sparks flew in the air. "Not much..." she said softly. Should she say? That she truly didn't exist? That most of her life was lived in the shadows, as a shield for Ara. "I... I..." she couldn't bring herself to tell him the truth. For the first time it was hard for her to acknowledge the fact that she was the dark side of the coin and that the light one shone most of the time.

"I'm not really there ya know?" she finally said softly in a cryptic tone. "When I'm there I practice throwing and wielding the dagger and using the sword. I have a rapier at home, bought it since it was cheaper. But there are many things to do in Syliras... there are taverns and inns, an employment office and a stable in case you like working with animals. The knights are pretty serious, but they don't really mingle with the citizens that much. There's a waterfall outside the city and some caves..." she trailed off unsure what to say more.

Suddenly a woman came out of the bushes, a woman who probably did not bear good intentions as she snapped at them as soon as she appear. Niah glared and immediately brought her double-bladed daggers out, one in each hand should the need to fight and protect herself arrise.

Awakening ((Open))

Postby Kaeliinthia on January 28th, 2011, 6:22 pm

A smirk tugs at Kaeliinthia's lips as she sees their reaction to her presence. The way she moved was slow and cautious as she got a better feel of her surroundings. The only disadvantage to her situation, she thought, was that she was outnumbered if this turned into a brawl.

Kaeliinthia's mind began to pick out their appearance and notice even the smallest detail. Her eyes shift towards the male. Emotionless, dark hair, dark eyes and not too athletic.. In the midst of her minds description, her eyes linger to the female who had her daggers at the ready. Fragile, but tough.. Slim, ice eyes, unsure of what emotion she portrays.

After moments of silence, Kaeliinthia breaks it and backs down slightly, knowing she is in no place to start a fight."Place your weapons on the ground and I will do the same."

Awakening ((Open))

((OOC:due to a fluke my last posts about my memory and such have lead to be false and unable to work. so just ignore that and expect a different form of posting for now, though all that happened between interactions of characters are true...not sure if that made much sense >.>))

Zerodyne blinked when she told them to drop their weapons. He simply just raised his hands off the crossbow and folded them across his chest while he sat upon the rock. He was really unsure of what to make of the situation, if only he had been in his former body, she could have been dead or maimed by now. Sighing he just stared back at her, waiting for her to uphold her end. At the moment he couldn't risk harming the body he was in, not until he got used to the young figure and the semi-weak frame.

Zerodyne looked at Niah and wondered what must be going through her mind. He was slightly perturbed by how many people he had already been involved with. He was getting into too much personal matters already in this new body and that would be a bad asset to have at this time as he was slightly weak from the fast ritual he had to conduct.

Niah wasn't sure what to do... she couldn't risk getting hurt, but didn't want to start a brawl at the same time. Confident in her skills with the dagger she simply threw the double-bladed ones in her bag knowing fully well that if things worsened she could grab her tamo daggers from her belt.

Niah was getting anxious... there were too many strangers around for her liking and she was too far from the city to rely on any help from there if something bad happened. She glared at the woman who appeared to have some Inartan blood in her veins and asked harshly. "So what do you want?"

Holds up her end of the agreement and nods. Kaeliinthia lowered her bow, releasing the tension on the string and places the arrow back into her quiver.
She moved with cautious strides toward the fire before crouching down on one knee, face toward the ground.

Kaeliinthia looks up at the female who spoke in a harsh tone and snapped back with a mocking tone as she placed the bow down next to her."Now, now.. Why so harsh?" She would take in the warmth of the fire, it had been some time before she had been back to her campsite.

Zerodyne looked at the stranger and his face shown that of almost pure anger. His dark rimmed eyes making his appearance seem just that much more terrifying. "You have nerve girl. You strut in here with a weapon aimed at us and think me to be hospitable towards you? You might want to think on peoples reactions" He said as if he was scolding a child, his age showing a little as he now spoke to a hostile stranger. He had been softer and more boyish towards Niah, but this other girl... she earned no kindness from him at all.

Zerodyne knew that there was truth to his words as it was very obvious that no one would be ind to an armed stranger. Anyone in their right mind would be able to see that ther actions would reap no rewards but the hate of others.

"Uninvited guests are often dealt with in this way. Nobody asked you to come here and threaten us with your bow. What do you expect a warm welcome and roasted beef?" Niah asked in her trademark cinic tone; she hated people who assumed they were welcome where they were in fact not.

A curious tint of red swirled in Niah's eyes, but quickly disspeared. She didn't have her mother's changing eyes, but every now and then when she was mad her eyes would gain a red hue. And now she was fuming and lusting for a fight. She glanced at Zerodyne and noticed the tone in which he had talked to the newcomer. Apparently he was as font of her as Niah was.
